life time rug
I have seen some shedding complaints and clearly those purchasers don't know the properties of wool. Wool sheds but it decreases over time. This is a fantastic quality purchase. I have bought supposed "stain easy removed rugs” made of man made fibers and they didn't live up to the promise. Wool is for life. Get it professionally cleaned, it'll be something you can give your grandchildren. I have dogs and elderly parents and this rug survives and cleans up wonderfully.

Let down -ivory/beige
There’s absolutely no “beige” in the rug. The strips are 100% gray. What a let down, should’ve trusted the reviews. For over $500 I want a rug that is accurately depicted online, so I’ll be returning. Looks nice, if only it were the correct color.

Absolutely love this rug. I bought the 2 X 3 on Oct 6th, it’s currently Nov 10th and it’s already falling apart on one edge. My husband thinks it’s defective and I should exchange. It’s been out-of-stock for awhile. So disappointed!

Itchy and lots of shedding
The rug came packaged well, however it had dried bird poo on the backing of the rug? Once that was taken care of, it looked really nice laid out. However I vacuumed for what felt like ages, but still socks and clothing were covered in shedding. When you sit on it, the harder fibers poke through your clothing and make it that much more uncomfortable. Returned the rug, having a local carpet company cut us an area rug for a cheaper price.

horrible fulfillment
Shipped a 10x10 very thick rug folded into 3x3 sized square (vs rolling like most companies). Needless to say it has horrible creases in 3ft sections all over it - that won't go down at all. Returned. This is 2nd time this co has done this so if you want creased rug that never goes away go ahead and order!

Here are a few suggestions you may want to consider for reducing the creases, waves, wrinkles, and or kinks: 1. Back rolling or reverse rolling the rug - Unroll the carpet and roll it up again in the opposite direction. To keep it secure, place heavy furniture on the rug while back-rolled/reverse-rolled to keep it from unraveling. (Leave it back rolled for 1-3 days). 2. Refer to our video on how to unpack, unroll, straighten and flatten your new rug -How to Straighten an Area Rug - Safavieh- https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3A4L4pCNS5U 3. Refer to our additional video on how to remove creases - How to Remove Creases from Indoor-Outdoor Rugs. 4. Use indoor rug/carpet tape- tape down the corners of the rug to secure and flatten the ends of your rug. 5. For folded corners, the best thing to do is to fold the corners under and let them rest for several days. 6. Place the rug on a hard flat floor instead of a carpet while it relaxes. 7. Use a rug pad to prevent slipping and sliding – Rug Pads. 8. Use a rug gripper for hardwood flooring. 9. Vacuum the rug where the creases are located. 10. Simply allow ample time for your rug to settle. In most cases, all you need to do is lay your Safavieh rug flat, and the waves/wrinkles/creases will even themselves out. 11. Use indoor double-sided carpet tape to tape down the rug to secure and flatten the ends of your rug (This will prevent bunching and buckling). You want to run the tape along the perimeter and put an X through the middle of the rug from corner to corner this will secure the rug. *These creases/waves/bumps/wrinkles/kinks will normally flatten out on their own so in most cases, you can simply allow ample time for your rug or runner to settle. Be patient and let those kinks work themselves out. Do not is an iron, steamer, or rug cleaner to reduce creases/wrinkles/waves on your rug. Indoor Safavieh rugs are not iron-friendly or steam-friendly.

Great quality, color is NOT like the picture at all. I expected a slate blue, creams and golds as described and shown in the pic. Instead, the rug was bright blue, almost turquoise, orange and bright white. This rug belongs in Florida. It's frustrating when color photos online are not depicted accurately. Wastes a lot of time and money. This will be going back.

Wonderful rug ar an amazing price!!
I wish out of the colors there was a darker taupe or burlap color with the striations going through. This is an ivory with the slight blue gray going through it. It’s a beautiful rug for the price!! I am very happy with it. If you are trying to decide please buy this. It is soft and durable for any room. It’s in my son’s bedroom and goes well with the decor. If you are going for a more high traffic area a darker one would be better. I am just worried about dirt and stains on such a light rug. It’s the perfect height and so far no crazy shedding. Very soft underfoot. Awesome purchase and highly recommend. I saved this to my favs and I may just purchase a different one.

Caroetbis dofferent in color and sheds
This rug differed in color and is more of a yellowish tint than a white or cream. Also I had to return this rug because it smelled so bad and sheds constantly. I repeatedly vacuumed hoping it would help but to no avail. My dog and I would wake up every morning sneezing from the smell and fibers. I would not purchase this rug.
