Smells
Wanted to love it as It’s thick and heavy. However it really stunk of mildew. I let it sit for a week and it’s unbearable. Also, there is a big stain on the side, like it was dragged on the floor a bit in the roll.

We’re sorry that you had a poor experience with our product. We strive to assure that only top-quality products carry the Safavieh brand. Please see below suggestions to deal with the rug smell. a. Air the rug out first in a clean, well-ventilated area, like a porch for a few days (a garage is not recommended unless the windows or the doors are open) b. Turn on the air conditioner or place fans within the space where the carpet is located and keep the windows and doors open. This way will help enhance the flow of air in and out of the space. c. If you have an air-ventilation system (ducts that exchange indoor for outdoor air) keep this running for at least 48 hours after the rug is installed. You can run it for more if the odor is still present. d. Vacuum the rug
