Mediocre

It looks nice, but I left a pot of water about 4 inches deep on it for an hour and the water never boiled. If you need it to boil water, don't buy this. Obviously, the entire mechanism gets hot, except for the dials on the front, which is fine, except the dials are quite shallow and you need to be careful not to touch anything but the dial when making adjustments.
