Bottom pin doesn't hold
Bottom latch pin doesn't hold and toddler can open gate as he pleases. Hauck won't respond to my emails or voicemails.

Great gate with extension
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This gate is great for wide openings as it comes with an extender. What’s also great too is that the installation doesn’t cause any permanent damage to the walls. There is a lock on gate. You can feel safe with this gate with your little ones.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The hauck baby gate works great. I loved that the gate was sturdy enough to handle a climbing toddler. The issue I had with the gate is that it took a very long time to find the correct placement in my home to use the gate so that it would close and latch.

What we needed!

Long gone are the times of tripping to step over the old baby gates, the door on this is easy to open and keep closed from prying fingers.

I got tired of replacing the screen in the door all of the time so this is perfect! This gate is very secure and easy to install. My grandson can’t open it but it is easy for an adult to open with one hand.

Very handy gate
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love having this gate installed in my house. We use it in the hallway entrance to keep our baby in the living room. It does the job and works great. It is really easy to install and is the perfect fit. It's easy to open it up also but a baby or a toddler will definitely have hard time getting it to budge. My son tries to shake it really hard but he fails to move it at all. It's staying in place until moved.

Fantastic baby gate
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this baby gate to use at the top of our garage stairs. We had one already installed, but my little guy was able to slip underneath it! This one was super easy to install, and my kiddo is not able to open it (or escape under it). I do think it is going to leave some marks on the wall, but that isn’t a big deal and is to be expected with a heavier duty gate. I think it looks really nice, and is easy for me to open and close with one hand. Definitely recommend!

The latching mechanism is great and is secure so don't have to worry about it getting easily pushed open on accident. The look and color is pretty basic and nothing fancy, but for the price can't really complain. Would recommend to any person needing to baby proof an area or to even use to keep pets out.
