TERRIBLE rug

I loved it…until I washed it. Now it’s ruined. It claimed to be washable, that is absolutely not true. The rug lasted 2 months.

Love BUT...

Beautiful. Who doesn’t love jute. It does however slide around on my floors. The back doesn’t grip enough. I’ve had it in my kitchen for a few months and finally decided to try washing it because it really needed cleaning. It did shed some and It’s pretty wrinkled. I’m laying it flat to dry as the instruction state not to put in dryer. I will need to take a steamer to it once it dries to get it to lay flat again. Im kinda on the fence about it really. I have another just like the one I have, the 2x8 runner not opened, and I’m debating whether or not to return.

Jute rug

The smell of the fibers linger even after washing it. The smell just takes over any room that it is in. When it was washed it was shedding and doesn’t spot clean well either. It’s a nice rug in terms of size and appearance, but I can’t get over the smell. Due to it being too old, to now return, I’m out the money for it.

More or less what expected

This has been sitting in the closet, unwrapped today. Maybe it will even out after awhile, I am glad it's thinner than some, doesn't have a strong nonstick of any sort, but purchased because it's washable. It will need to be secured as it puckers a lot and is more of appearance of a throw rug than a stable floor addition.

non-skid???

I bought this rug for my entrance hall that has wood floors. It's advertised as non-slip, but mine wasn't nearly as non-slip as other rugs I've owned. Since hubby and I are Seniors, we have to be very careful of slipping, so I couldn't trust this rug, and I don't want to have to get a rubber underlay. If slippage wasn't a concern for me, I would have kept the rug.

Love this washable Jute Rug!!

I ordered the Jute large rug for my living room and it is perfect. I had a similar style that was hemp and could not be cleaned or washed. The jute washable is so much better. I have a dog and this rug will definitely be easier to keep clean and clean up any messes. THANK YOU NOURISON. I am a big Target and Nourison fan!!

Washable rug

I washed the rug due to a puppy accident and the petroleum smell is terrible. Also, it left a bunch of “whitish marks” on the rug. I used baking soda and vinegar in the washer, which is what I use for all my laundry, and I never have had this happen before.
