Q: Can I also use ground coffee without grinding -- I assume you put it right into the filter.
A: Yes, there is a setting for the Breville® BDC650 Grind Control™ for Pre-Ground coffee that by-passes the grinder.

Q: Can I brew only a cup of coffee?
A: Yes, the Breville® BDC650 Grind Control™ does have a single cup mode that allows the brew to be used in a single coffee cup or travel mug.
