Great product
This is a great portable monitor and the only one available as far as I can tell for a reasonable price where both units are rechargeable battery operated. Only complaint is it’s hard to tell that the battery is low, and there are no sound indicator LEDs like most units have.

Best on the market!
Only baby monitor that I could find after EXTENSIVE research that both baby side and parent side are rechargeable battery operated! We lose power frequently at our house so I needed something that I could still hear my baby two rooms away and this is it! I just keep plugged in at all times Abe when the power goes out It automatically switches to battery operated! Amazing for travel as well! Or camping!

Liked it and worked great until 5 months in, the sound monitor died completely and wouldn't turn on.

Handy little device
I love this little device. I have a camera baby monitor over WiFi that uses our phones for the parent device, but it’s very inconvenient for travel and if the electricity goes out. This was the only device I could find that both the baby unit and the parent unit have a battery, which is a huge benefit for travel and if the WiFi is out. But then I was very pleased when I received the device. It comes with two charging cords (usb to usb-c) two blocks to plug into the wall and a handy little storage bag. The device works great and it’s so simple and user friendly. Wish I had gotten this sooner.

The VM855-2CONNECT also has the Parent and Baby Units both have battery and can also be used on the Wi-Fi. If you want to see the baby and are at home the VM36XL also has battery for the Parent and Baby Units.

Would recommend, even for home
Love these! Very sensitive microphone so you can hear baby breathing. Small, compact and easy to use. Just need to charge them every few nights.

Great simple must have for new baby
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This product is super easy to use and really a must have for new moms. When the baby is sleeping in the morning, for example, I like to go sit on my back porch and this portable baby monitor makes it really easy to still listen for him to wake up without having to run inside every so often.

Great Travel Monitor!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have had this product 8 months and I truly think this is a must have for traveling. I don't have to bring our video monitor that is bulky and takes up space in our suitcase/or overnight bag. This monitor is strictly just for sounds, there isn't any video linked. This device comes with its own little bag to keep everything in place. I can just grab it and go! It needs to be charged but I don't mind that. The parent unit has great features, such as a microphone to take to your little from wherever you are in the house. You can hear any movement that your little makes as well! When you are done you simply put them back together (they are magnetic and link together). Truly recommend for anyone who travels with kids and doesn't want to bring their monitor.

Poor battery life
We like that it serves the need of a basic audio monitor, however the battery does not last all night. We often wake up early morning to the battery dinging.

They're Great!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Super simple set up! Love the size and how portable they are. If you can handle just audio and not having a visual picture, these are perfect! Unfortunately I like to visually see my kids and what they are doing.

Great audio baby monitor; especially when traveling!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have always used audio monitors for my kid to know when they are awake or not. I went to TN three weeks ago for a two night stay and brought my original audio monitor and this Motorola monitor. I couldn't even use my original one because it was connected to my wifi back home, and I couldn't get it to update to the hotel wifi at all. It ended up being useless. The Motorola baby monitor worked beautifully! I used it both nights at the hotel and in my family's bedroom during his naps. I didn't have to bring the charger with me for his day nap since it holds a charge very well, connected easily, and was a breeze to use. I'm so glad I had this audio monitor to use since my old one couldn't even be set up! Audio was clear. I also have used in my house (1200 sq ft with a huge backyard that goes way out further) and haven't had an issue with the connection at all.

Great for travelling
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This monitor was great for a trip we recently went on. It provided clear sound from several rooms away. It's the perfect monitor for on the go as it's super compact and portable. This has been amazing for when baby is napping while we've traveled. It worked well and was easy to use, also includes a convenient traveling pouch to store for easy packing. The units also connect magnetically so you won't lose while not in use.

Definitely buy this product
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I used this product for the first time on vacation. When I had to switch laundry and the kids were sleeping. It was clear, no static at all. Used it again at home and it was excellent. I've had no issues. No static when there's silence (which is rare with multiple kids).

Perfect for traveling
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I liked this baby monitor for traveling. While I do prefer a baby monitor that has a camera, this was perfect for on the go when wifi is not reliable or it just takes too much time to connect your regular camera. Audio is great. I like the fact that its compact and doesn't have a lot of cables (like the one I have with a camera) and that it doesn't have to be plugged while in use, that might me my favorite part. I only have it 4 stars because as a first time mom it gives me more peace of mind to see him.

Great Sound Quality
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am used to using a Wyze camera so switching over to just sound was a little different. We did have a trip planned so I tried it out a few nights before our trip next to our wyze cam and everything worked great. On our trip it was super nice because the monitor came with a carrying bag, super long cords and velcro cord wranglers for the cords. Being able to have them be cordless for naps so we could sit in the other room while still being able to hear him was amazing. The magnetic on/off feature was nice. The sound quality is great. I did receive this in return for my opinion. I did take off one star because I feel the price is a little high. There are other cordless baby monitors on the marker for about $20 less but I think some of the features of this one has could easily make the extra money worth it.

Great for a family on the go!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this product just before our family vacation. It was light and compact which made packing it in my suitcase a breeze. I found it very easy to use and a long battery life. We were able to rest easy with our little one sleeping in the other room, the sound quality is great. My only thing I wish is that it had a feature that you could talk into so I could assure my son I was on my way when he woke up. Thank you BzzAgent for the free sample, we will be bring this with on all our vacations for years to come!

Good morning, Thank you for your kind words. To help provide the best experience for you, the product does have a talkback feature. If you long press on the + button while the units are both on, you will see the green light on the parent unit start to flash- at this point you can talk through the unit to baby. You can refer to the Quick start guide included in the package for further information on this. Please let us know if you have any questions on functionality, otherwise, we hope you'll get a lot of use out of your PIP12 Travel. Best, Motorola Nursery Team

A product I never knew I needed
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I could have used this when my first daughter was a baby! We would go to visit friends and family for the day and she would nap in another room. This portable monitor is easy to keep in the diaper bag for all those moments. I will also use this on upcoming travel as well. I was impressed with the crisp sound quality and ease of use. Many of us moms have portable sound machines, it only makes sense to have a portable baby monitor as well! Hello. I'm so happy I can use this going forward.

Could hear a pin drop at a concert
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had one monitor in my babies room and one outside while I played with my toddler. I heard my dog sneeze in a different room than the monitor was in so yeah, it works great.

A Very Decent Portable Baby Monitor
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] First off, I received this free for a review of the product. Batteries are AAA and are the rechargeable part. You could potentially switch those batteries out for a better name brand one with potentially more battery life. The backs are usually easy to take off and basically snaps back on. They do not charge when snapped onto each other. I believe it's because of the magnets and some safety thing, so keep them apart to charge. It comes with a bag for storage or travel. Audio sounds good on both ends. The reasons why I gave it a four star instead of a five are the following... It's lowest audio setting for the parent unit is not low enough for me. It's still loud especially when the kid is near their monitor. I used it mostly for my kids ranging from 8-2yo at night. They have problems running in and out of their room and hurting each other, so we have a way to communicate and keep a little more order in the house at night. If you're only using for a baby then audio shouldn't be much of an issue for you. I have a 4 month old and audio volume was fine until he started crying, of course. Another is when you talk back on your parent unit. You press and hold the plus button. It takes a second or two for it to register you want to speak instead of upping the audio volume. It also mutes incoming audio so you can't hear what's going on on the other side till you are done holding the button. Again, I think that's more of an "older" kid problem, including 2yos. One more negative is the charging. It has a light for both. It shows red when charging and never changes colors to indicate that it is fully charged. I charged it initially for 24 hours so it's not user error and not sure why it would be anyway. I don't see why they couldn't make an indicator to show fully charged. I feel like I'm forgetting something but overall, I do like the monitors,
