I continually buy this and other products having the same ingredients. (12 times on Amazon). It is impossible to know if the ingredients result in a marked improvement in my knees since I walk over 10,000 steps every five days and exercise, how can I know if a supplement is effective. Another issue is the lack breakdown of what is in the capsules. 2000 mg of "proprietary blend". What does that mean?

I’ve been taking glucosamine for about 5 years now, and it has made a huge difference in my life. Before I started, I struggled with joint pain so badly that surgery was recommended. My husband and I have used the product for awhile. My mother has severe osteoarthritis in her knee. I recently had xrays of both my knees and it appears I don't have any osteoarthritis in my knees, so the supplement is doing it's job.
