Q: how do I take off the protective cover

A: Hello Cassy, Thank you for taking the time to share your detailed feedback. We’re genuinely sorry for the confusion this product has caused, and we appreciate the opportunity to clarify a key point about its design. The outlet cover you're referencing is not meant to be removed—it is a built-in child safety feature that is meant to be slid. To access the outlets, insert your fingernail or plug prong into one of the grooves on the face of the cover and slide it to the side, this will expose the 2 prong outlet holes and your item will be ready to plug in with the cover intact, but slid over to expose the outlet holes. This is a safety mechanism designed to help prevent accidental contact with live outlets, especially in households with children. This extension cord is very simple and basic and does exactly what you expect and need it to. 2 outlets on one side and one on the other. This does not have any option for 3 prong plugs though, which makes sense since the plug to the wall does not have the grounding pin. I did like the safety covers to protect the outlets. Simple, white color looks good as well.

This is a 12’ 3 outlet indoor extension cord. My son insists on taking and using this extension cord everywhere in the house to plug in and charge his tablet. So it works. He’s happy and I’m trippin over it constantly. 😄

Perfect length for what I needed! I was needing a cord to extend my phone charger to my work place and glad to say this saved me from having to search for one. White color that matches my wall so I can barely notice it after I set it up.

This Dealworthy Indoor Cord works great and it really exceeded my expectations. It’s 12 feet long with 3 ports and each port has a cover. I can plug two apple chargers and a regular plug at the same time without any issues. I was also able to use it with my steamer while using it on our carpet which was from the outlet. I like it because it’s very handy and lightweight. The quality is not bad and it doesn’t disappoint. I highly recommend it!

12 feet cord provide more freedom for your set up. I like that it has sliding safety cover, good feature for family with kids and pets. The unit itself is also compact and easy to set up for small spaces.
