    Changed for the worse

    I'm so sad. This was my favorite cereal as a kid, but I rarely purchased Cracklin' Oat Bran as an adult because of its high sugar content. I just bought a box for the first time in a long time, thinking I'd splurge a little, and... Yuck. It's different. A whisper of what it used to be and no longer craveable. I would not snack on these dry. Both texture and flavor are off. They react differently in milk. I guess I won't be splurging because these little, bland kibbles are definitely not worth it anymore.

    Let’s call it New COB

    Many shiny things lose their luster with time. It had been years since I bought COB. I recently bought a box to share the memories with my wife and daughter. I agree with many that the new recipe misses the mark. The new COB is tasty and indulgent like the old COB. Not as crunchy or distinct molasses flavor pallet as the original. Price is still quite high.

    Spectacular! Oatmeal cookies in a cereal box!! The cereal stays crispy in milk long before you will finish a bowl. A great starter for trail mix, or a snack all by itself...take it anywhere and share...those not in the know will become instant fans!

    Why do companies change things???

    So different now and NOT in a good way. The texture is different and gross. It used to be crunchy, now it’s like styrofoam. I wish I wouldn’t have wasted my money because it was expensive too. Never again

    The recipe has changed im soon disappointed. The used to bigger, thicker, darker more cinnamon flavor. Now they are all broken in the bag because they are thin, not as hard. I ate them as a snack. Now. Just super disappointed that my favorite snack is not any more.
