Try another product

I previously used a 2% salicylic acid product. Tried using this Papatui product (salicylic acid content unknown) and keep breaking out. More expensive than a regular 2% salicylic acid product, too. I agree with the reviews about the bad pump, too. It can come out aggressively and I don't know which way it will shoot. It smells fine and I did not have any skin reactions. Give it a try if you've tried everything else. Didn't work for me.

be prepared to be burned

instantly started to burn and my whole face is best red and tight. some people have had same and many haven't, you can see ring around eyes where it didn't touch how red it got. maybe Dave is clean but yikes so does most other cleansers but I don't have to be burn for it.

pump problems

I'm not sure if this is a good value, because I'm not getting to use it all. the pump is ridiculous - it squirts either onto my shirt or the floor behind me (whichever is more convenient). each night I think, tomorrow I'll remember the pump is turbo charged. but so far I haven't.

The pump is designed to dispense a full dose with one press, but we understand how that can feel excessive if you’re not expecting it. Occasionally, cleanser residue can also build up around the pump opening, which may affect how the product dispenses.
