18" Wood Kitchen Step Stool - Hearth & Hand™ with Magnolia

I bought this step stool in the natural wood color and it’s both functional and stylish. The wood finish looks great in my kitchen and the design feels solid and well-made. I like that it folds, which makes it easy to store away when not in use, but still feels sturdy when standing on it. The only reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 is because the foldable piece makes a squeaky-door sound when I move it up or down. It’s not a deal breaker, but it’s noticeable. Other than that, I’m really happy with it and would recommend it for both looks and function.

very disappointed to have received an obvious “used” item. Dents, chipped paint and even a noticeable hairline fracture right on top! I saw it in the store, but thought i’d get a new one having ordered it on line.

I had been eyeing this for awile and waiting for it to come back in stock. I am very pleased with the purchase. The stool looks great sitting in my kitchen. It seems durable and is lightweight, making it easy to move arournd the kitchen.

Great looking stool to have on hand. Easy to tuck away while still looking like a quality piece.

I wanted to use in my toddlers’ bathroom so they could more independently brush their teeth but it’s a little scary for small kids… it’s relatively high (which they loved because they could see in the mirror), but it made me scared of how easily they could step back and tumble off of it. It’s somewhat narrow and a big step up. I moved it into my walk in closet because it’s still nice, just a little to mature for small kids, in my opinion.

This step stool is stunning! It is sturdy and solid. The color is beautiful. I love that the bottom step folds in if needed! The size is perfect! The quality far exceeded my expectations! How was this only $60?! WIN!!

This came in super handy and looks awesome . We put it in my son’s dorm room because his bed is mid-lofted. Highly recommend.

The stool looks nice but the aged oak color is more dark brown than shown in the images. I like how you can store it as a side table when not in use.

I got it in black. Seems very sturdy and well made. I love that the bottom step folds in.

My favorite stool. Second one I bought. Easy to use and takes up less space with being able to fold the step in. Also easier for you to climb just like a stairway

I love thus step stool so much I bought 2! I just wish I could get it in the gray or black but they haven’t brought those colors back in stock. :( I agree with the other reviewer that it is a fairly high step from the 1st to 2nd. I use it for myself rather than for our younger kids.

For an adult this really isn’t stable. The flip step has no stopper so it slams and scratches as it slams and the bolts loosen over time. I think this needs more work is more of a decor item than a functional item.

I had hoped to use this for our two 4-year-olds in the bathroom and kitchen since it looks nice and could fold up. It does look nice but I returned it because it seems like too high of a step between the first and second steps and the top step feels too high and narrow.
