Hello, Aileen. This is very disheartening to hear. This formula was independently 3rd-party tested multiple times for proven efficacy. The testing data was also reviewed and verified by all 50 states. The only thing I could suggest is that you didn't have complete coverage. Insect repellent works just like sunscreen and requires 100% skin coverage for full protection. A mosquito will probe an area the size of a quarter if it's not treated. Moreover, our formula offers both scent and surface protection. Mosquitoes taste through their feet, so if they get past the scent and land, they don't like the taste and fly away, prior to probbing. Works but super greasy
Mosquitoes always bite me no matter what and I have to say this spray prevents them from biting so that's great! However, it is super greasy. Like I am greasy on application, throughout the day, getting on my furniture and clothes. I wish the formula was dry and this would be perfect. I will use this bottle it will not be repurchasing unfortunately.

Oily, stains clothes and does not work!
First time using it was a disaster! I applied and applied to myself and three kids, and still continued to be bitten. Also, stains clothes since it’s so oily. Do not recommend.

Good bug spray
Great eco friendly bug spray. DEET free and smells great. Non irritating on my kids sensitive skin. Dried quickly and was non greasy. Overall happy with this item esp that it doesn’t have harsh chemicals. Would buy again.

Plant based bug spray
When I applied the bug spray my initial thought was this is greasy but once I started rubbing it in it dried quickly. The plant based spray was easy to apply and doesn’t smell horrible like other products.

Kid spray
Let me start by saying that I absolutely hate bugs and spend a good portion of my time outside running from bugs and wanting to immediately go back in. I already enjoy this spray and think it will be effective in keeping me outside longer. The bottle is small and perfect to toss in a purse or bag. The smell is fine - kind of reminds me of hairspray. Not over powering or annoying or gross. It also did not leave any sticky residue on my skin!

Great smell-perfect for a natural repellent.
Nice smell and not greasy or oily like some other natural products. Kids were happy with the scent and application. Has a nice fine mist and spray is even. The size of the bottle is also great for a backpack or pool bag. I received these products for free from the Hey, Bullseye™ sampling program in exchange for my honest review.

Worth a try
Well, I got this during the off season, so right now it's hard to say whether or not it works well. What I can say is that I love that it is all natural, and even environmentally sourced. The scent is also pleasant. Not too overwhelming.

Great natural products
Smells pretty good lemongrass oil fragrance isn't too overwhelming. I'm not a big fan of lemongrass, but I like this insect repellant. I love using natural products and essential oils in general, but really like this in an insect repellant that we need during the CA rainy season (winter) when mosquitoes reign. This is great for playing outdoors or even for adults when doing yard work. A must for camping trips. Read the directions under the flap on the back.

Works well and smells great, but not meant for summers in Florida
I love the smell of the bug spray. Added bonus were the stickers that came with the product. It does spray heavy in one spot. I had to rub it in to help spread it on my body. Because the spray has essential oils, it was a little greasy and didn’t dry. I had to wash my hands after applying so I didn’t accidentally rub it in my eye. For the most part the bugs stayed away. I do feel that if I was in a heavier mosquito environment the bug spray wouldn’t have worked. As of right now it’s early spring in Florida. The mosquito population isn’t in full swing. I will still use it, until the mosquito population is at its peak.

No Bites!
Love the controlled pump because a little goes a long way. Found it best to rub it on my kids skin instead of spraying. Not a single bite this weekend at the ball field!!!
