Keeping in my medicine cabinet as a last resort.
I was sad to read the ingredients and find Red No. 40 on the list. And, although the flavor is fine, there is an aftertaste from the sucralose used to make it sweet. I will be keeping the bottle in my medicine cabinet as a last resort until I can find a cough suppressant without those two ingredients.

Helped my son with night time coughing so he could rest!
My 9 year old son had caught a cold from his school and had a bad cough that came with it that was causing him difficulty sleeping. This helped bring him fast relief to his coughing so he could rest. He’s picky about cough medicine but he actually liked the cherry flavor in this one. It’s a sweet syrup texture and leaves only a mild after taste. It also comes with the small measuring dosage cup. Overall it worked great for him. Thank you.

Nice packaging
Reading the box it says comparable to a popular children’s cough medicine brand. My expectation was for not only a quality product, but also for something that was similar in taste. This is a product I would struggle to give to my child. The taste reminds me of adult cough medicine versus being a flavorful or a sweet children’s cough syrup. I was also disappointed in the red dyes used to make this product as it is unnecessary. I don’t foresee using this product with my kid because they have already made it very clear they hate the way it taste. Giving this three out of five stars just because the product does work just like the taste or color I was looking for.

Good cough medicine
This cough medicine is good. It’s very similar to many others in the market. I am not fond of the taste. I believe the flavor is not quite cherry. It could use more to make it taste like cherry. The quality of the medicine is good however.

Great for the cold and flu season!
We had the opportunity to utilize Up + Up Brand Children's Cough Liquid on several occasions, as my 5 and 8-year-old daughters were under the weather over the last two weeks. My children both enjoy the cherry flavor and reading usage and dosage is simple. I love that this product works just as effectively as some of the other big brand names, for a fraction of the price. Both of my girls recieved relief and a good nights rest when using this product. Highly recommend for the cold and cough season!

Not Suitable For My Family
My twelve year old grandchild has a cough and I gave her a dose of this cough medicine and she wanted to spit it out because she said it did not taste very good. I didn't allow her to spit it out but she doesn’t want to take any more of it. I sampled it myself, and I agree that it is not a very pleasant taste. My nine year old grandchild takes anxiety medication so according to the warning label on the bottle I do not need to let him take this cough medicine. I will, however, pass it to a friend of mine that has small children. The cherry flavor is very strong.

Effective syrup with pleasant flavor
The Children's Mucinex Cough syrup works well for my child's cough and congestion. The cherry flavor makes it easy to take, and the included dosing cup ensures quick and accurate measurement. Great tasting, long lasting. My daughter liked it (& she likes nothing!)
Great item - works like a charm! My daughter loved the cherry flavor, she hates grape medicine. I didn't like that it was so red, would've preferred a clear liquid as to avoid messes. Daughter said great taste. She came home the day I got this with a cough, so it went right to use! Recommended dosage was exactly what she needed. worked quick and for about 3-4 hrs before it started to wear off. Expiration date aways out, so I know i'll get some use of it!

Ehh
My 5 year old never mind taking any meds but this one he said it’s gross. So it prob don’t taste like cherry . Also gave him two dose already and I don’t see a difference in it working
