It took me months to decide on which stick vac to buy. Compared it with Dyson's and Sharks. My last was a Shark but I was not happy with it. One thing I noticed it did not pick up debre on a pull back swipe and vac head would not fit under my couch. I have no idea if about the Dyson. This Bissell is reasonably priced, the vac head fits 6" under my couch now, is super light, picks up just about any debre on the lowest speed which saves the battery live, picks up just about all light debree on pull back swipes and lastly has a removable battery unlike many. I bought an extra battery so I have one on charge all the time for backup and thinking of a third one. I have no idea what happens when a non removable battery goes bad on the other brands. It comes with ample attachment and so far I am very happy with it.

I was so excited to get it and I put it together and charged it and turned it on and it sucked nothing up. I tried all three speeds and nothing it just pushed the dirt around and nothing went up into the vacuum or canister.

The battery dies so fast. You HAVE to have a backup battery to get your house vacuumed. Also the hole from the vacuum to the bucket is small so things often get stuck. Also it doesn’t cut hair and it gets wrapped just like other vaccums. I was disappointed to see that the plastic that “cuts hair” is ripped and torn already. It’s not a durable vacuum for the price. Also you can’t set the vacuum anywhere except its hanger so it’s inconvenient. I’d say it’s mediocre and I could’ve spent the money better.

I love this Vacuum, but I've really loved all my Bissell Pet products. My Bissell Pet Ion had picked up her last bunch of husky & Golden fur when I found this purple beauty on sale. I would not recommend this Vacuum for a carpeted home, but for our home with hard floors & one area rug and two office chair mats, it does just fine. You do have to maintain it! I live in a desert and that HEPA filter is swapped out weekly (it comes with two!) and the used one washed to like-new status. I had no idea how bad my old Vacuum was doing until I purchased this one. It really works to pick up the embedded fine sand & dog hair here. I love that this battery is replaceable if needed as well, which was something that was missing in my previous Cordless Vacuum. The battery keeps up well for our 1,300 square foot home.

so far it’s irritating me.. took me awhile to figure out why it wasn’t suctioning, then when i finally got it suctioning, i moved on to another room and it died. after charging ALL NIGHT. back on charge it goes. if it doesn’t toughen up i guess i’ll stick to my bulky bissell 🙄
