Matting can be removed
It’s about the quality you would expect for the cheap price. The frame itself is plastic and the covering is glass. The matting can be removed and I think one shouldn’t have any trouble painting the frame if that is what they would like.

Purchased two of these frames in the 8x10 size with matting for a 5x7 photo, they are adorable! For the price, you can’t beat it- the only con is the back was a little annoying to get off to insert the photos, but again- the price point and look were totally worth it for the vibe I was going for.

These frames are so cute and add whimsy with a touch of pizazz! They’re plastic with a glass front. They come with a 5x7 white matte insert for small pictures. My biggest issue is the backing knobs are so SUPER tight and hard to move, I thought I’d break the frame. I had to trim my prints to fit as the back squiggles get in the way. Overall, I like them.
