This device has the new fireos and doesn’t allow side loading your apps from other sources. If you like having your own apps, DO NOT purchase this device.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This was easier to set up then I thought it would be….it came with the batteries needed for the remote (a nice touch) and easy to follow instructions. You’ll need to know your Amazon Prime password to link your account to (or ‘through’) the Amazon Fire stick…once you log in, the final screen pops up showing the app entertainment options and you’re good to go! Also, you can take your Amazon Fire TV Stick kit with you when you travel! It works on any TV that had a TV HDMI port and a Wi-Fi connection! Please note: airport travel regulations or restrictions may vary as may restrictions for using the kit in other countries. Always check with the airport and airline you’re using first and if you’re traveling with it out of the country, do your research and find out if the kit will be compatible with options for set up and use in the country you plan to bring it into. It’s a great value and I highly recommend this product kit!

✨️🖥 Quick Installation, and Voice Accessibility!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Amazon Fire TV Stick 4K Select was quick to install and simple to use. All items were neatly tucked in a recyclable, PAP 21 paperboard box. This included the following items: Fire TV Stick, Alexa Voice Remote HDMI extender cable, micro USB power cable, power adapter, two AAA batteries, and a user guide. Right off the bat, I was stoked that batteries were included. And, while it wasn't necessary for my setup, I appreciated that an HDMI extender was provided. To set it up, I inserted the power cable into the adapter and fire stick. Then, plugged the fire stick into the television via HDMI. Then the adapter into the outlet. Once the television was powered on, I switched to the appropriate HDMI input. After popping the batteries into the remote, it was ready to set up the software. At this point, I could choose my language and connect to WiFi. The software update, remote programming, and account setup took maybe a totaly of 10 minutes. Each direction was concise. This felt like an update from Roku. Specifically, I loved the remote's Alexa Voice feature. Verbally commands saved so much time, compared to tediously typing each letter of every show/movie I wanted to watch. Additionally, the Fire Stick can adjust volume and power the TV on/off. Again- something that the Roku remote didn't do. Overall, I'm very satisfied with this product. The entire process felt streamlined. I no longer need two remotes to watch television, and voice command improves accessibility. Strongly recommend.
