Short life span
I loved it while it lasted. Which was barely a year. For the price I feel like it should be operational for more than that. Really really disappointed. I gave 2 stars only because it did work really well when it worked.

Lacks the power
Not as powerful as I need, I followed the directions to blend up a smoothie with frozen fruit. It took way too long and kept turning off and flashing red. You have to wait until it stops to start back up - prior to trying again I shook the container to try to move the contents around and make for easier blending. Still had issues. It then started to smell like the base was burning. On top of that the lid to open/close to drink out of doesn’t stay open and when you go to drink out it, it’ll whack you in the face. Luckily I was at home and could wipe the smoothie that was on the lid, off my face. It also didn’t suck down the sides like a normal blender and therefore doesn’t mix properly. This needs better design and power. I will be returning this. I gave it a chance because it was on sale but it still isn’t worth the sale price.

Blends great but noisy.
Ninja anything is great and the blenders blend well but they are very loud. Even this blast max. Retired my old big ninja blender because it’s too noisy to run in the mornings as it wakes the whole house up. Wish there were a way to make them quieter.

Do not buy from target online. package was delivered to the wrong address. And customer service said it was successfully delivered. Even the photo of where it was delivered was not my house. I recommend buying from store and never online.

Absolutely horrible. The thing cannot blend ice or anything frozen. It overheats after 1 minute of use, and does not hold a charge well. Whatever you do, just buy yourself a normal blender.

Excellent machine
I bought this machine for the very reason of making smoothies. I use a bit of frozen fruit to keep the Smoothie cold and it just goes through the frozen fruit like it was meant to do it. I also like the idea that this has a detachable base so you can carry around your smoothie without having to turn it upside down and putting a lid on it . I liked it so much I bought one for my husband. I highly recommend getting one for yourself.

Finally! Frozen Fruit Conquered!
Two blends with rock hard, frozen fruit chunks so far. Grinds right through them. This is my 5th personal blender, which I use daily. It is the first one that can blend frozen fruit, so I don’t need ice. And, I can put the whole 11oz Premier Protein shake and frozen fruit, since I don’t need ice. If this things lasts, you have a winner!!!
