12 Volt Car Refrigerator, Portable Freezer Dual Zone APP Control, 52 Cans Fridge 12/24V DC and 100-240V AC

We bought the Bodega 48 Quart Dual-Zone Fridge/Freezer to avoid ice hassle on camping trips. Since Christmas, we've tested it at home, finding it easy to set up. I prefer the phone app over the buttons. It runs quietly, though the motor can be heard, which may bother light sleepers. The temperature difference between zones is about 4 degrees; I’ve kept one at 36 degrees and the other at 0 degrees for freezing. I'm excited to use it in our SUV this summer. It’s well-built and the dual-zone feature is a great value. Looking forward to traveling without ice!

I bought this cooler, and it worked well for a year, keeping items frozen for two days without power. It cooled quickly and had easy digital controls. The USB port was great for my phone. Now, after taking it out of storage, it won't cool down, even though the control panel works. The only troubleshooting tip I got was to 'unplug it and plug it back in'—frustrating!

Before writing my review, I wanted to thoroughly test the Bodega fridge to ensure I could share my honest opinions. When I first got it, I excitedly told my girlfriend that I had a new gadget to take with us to the beach in July. Initially, she wasn't too thrilled about the idea of bringing a car fridge along with all our other gear, but her mind changed when she saw that it was about the same size as a regular cooler.

Some items in the fridge freeze if they touch the freezer wall. Ice cream doesn’t freeze solid unless the temperature is turned all the way down. I ordered a battery from Bodega, but it only lasted a few months. The company offered no explanation for its early failure and wouldn’t replace it.

The BODEGA Cooler is efficient and easy to use. App control and dual zones are perfect. Moves easily with wheels!

I’ve been looking for a portable fridge/freezer primarily for extra storage at home but also for trips, and this unit is a great fit at an affordable price. It cools down quickly and holds its temperature well, with the LCD screen accurately reflecting the internal temperature. The dual-zone feature is excellent, allowing for both fridge and freezer use at the same time. However, it resets the temperature settings after a power interruption, causing some lost items. The app is also unreliable; I got it to work once but haven’t been able to connect again. Still, it’s not a deal breaker for us.

We take it camping. Worked without a problem.

ZERO customer service. I have pried several variations of the instructions to connect the app without success. Called the CS number and get voice mail with no return call. TERRIBLE CS!!! Actual temp is ~+5 degrees from what is displayed on the screen. For refrigerator purposes this can be worked around. for freezer settings this could be an issue. I will be returning in the next week I do not hear from CS. DO NO BUY!!

I got this for us for our long trips and grocery trips. It is a little heavy but it works great for our needs. I sometimes wish I bought the larger size but this one works well for our needs.

The app is very easy to use. While adjusting the temperatures directly on the unit can be tricky, the app simplifies it. Just set the freezer a bit lower than your target—like 20-25°F for the freezer and 28-30°F for the fridge. You can use it as a freezer, a fridge, or both, which is super convenient. I got the warranty but haven't needed it. Working in the oil field, it endures long trips and tough conditions. I take care of it, and it takes care of me. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND this product!"

This is the best gear for our camping and road trips! It kept the fridge under 36 degrees and the freezer below 0. Even loaded, it wasn’t heavy and ran quietly—my girlfriend didn’t even notice! We fit a lot of food, including frozen steaks and soup, and it kept our mayo cold. I didn’t use the Wi-Fi feature, but it’s nice to have. I powered it with a portable generator overnight. One night, I forgot to plug it in, and it still kept everything cold. Get it!

I finally bought a cooler that doesn’t need ice, and I’m glad it was this one. It fits in my sedan’s trunk and has wheels, a dial zone, and a pull handle. It gets heavy when full, so the wheels are essential. The compressor is near the wheels, making it easy to roll. It has a dual-zone design, but one side is smaller and only one has a drain. I use the included basket in a grocery bag for spills. I took it on a weekend camping trip, and it worked perfectly. A great upgrade from standard coolers!

Later, we headed to the mountains for a weekend getaway, where the small fridge in our room barely kept our drinks cool. Once again, the Bodega came to the rescue; we used it as our main fridge all weekend, and it performed beautifully. I’m so glad I invested in this fantastic piece of equipment and would absolutely recommend it to anyone looking for a car fridge—it’s definitely worth it. Plus, the phone app made everything so much easier to manage. I loved it!

We're really impressed with the overall design and how effectively it cools the compartments to the set temperatures. The retractable handle for easy transport is a great feature, and placing the wheels at the heavier end is smart. The unit is surprisingly lightweight, too.

During our drive to the beach, I connected it to my EcoFlow River Max using the 12V (cigarette lighter) outlet. Since we planned to make stops every two to three hours, keeping it plugged in meant the fridge was never interrupted during our breaks. Upon arriving at our condo, I discovered that the freezer wasn’t working as it should, but the Bodega saved the day! I set one side as a freezer, and my ice cream and ice stayed solidly frozen—better than the condo fridge. I'm really thrilled with this!
