I found Byoma thanks to TikTok and the hype over the Recovery Oil. I’ve been trying to find a facial sunscreen that wasn’t too heavy and offered good SPF protection. The lotion is light and goes on easily with no white casting. Your skin gets a nice healthy glow so for no makeup days, sunscreen and a little under eye brightener and out the door.

I think this is good sunscreen if you don’t have sensitive skin. I bought this about a month ago and have loved it so far. I have oily skin and although this sunscreen is oily when u first put it on after like 30 mins my skin looks perf.

Was fine at first was a bit oily didn’t mind to much used a whole a bottle then purchased a second one and thats when it all went down hill it absolutely wrecked my skin my whole entire face turned red and eyes turned puffy i thought this was a reaction was due to over exfoliation NOPE weeks later decided to try it again after my skin was better and it wrecked my skin again same results face and neck super red and puffy eyes learned my lesson I just threw away the bottle.

Not for the sensitive skin girls. I used this and within the next 48 hours had a severe allergic reaction (now on steroids for 7 days). I use other Byoma products no issue but in doing research on this on other sites, many people with sensitive skin have similar reactions.

This is by far the best skincare product I’ve bought in years!! I’ve always been a combo moisturizer+spf gal, but I recently bought this plus the Byoma gel moisturizer. Both are GREAT, but if I’m in a rush, I’m grabbing for this first! It has a very subtle iridescence to it and the finish feels so supple at the end of the day. I have oily/combo skin. This keeps my skin moisturized but never greasy. I really didn’t think I’d ever find a product this good! The bottle also has a fantastic tip that pours out so controlled that I just squeeze on my face and pat in. LOVE this stuff!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am a sunscreen connoisseur and have tried dozens of SPF 50+and sunscreens due to my super fair, sunburn-prone skin. This is hands down one of my favorite formulas. It is lightweight and soaks in beautifully. It does not dry out the skin, but isn’t greasy either and plays well under makeup. The price won’t break the bank either. It’s in my top 3 sunscreens and I would def purchase again!

Sensitive skin, using actives approved
I have sensitive skin, rosacea, and currently battling some sort of acne. My skin is very particular about sunscreen, others burn, irratate, or make skin issues worse. Being on several prescription meds, sunscreen is a necessity. I really like this one. Easy to apply, nice texture and finish. Doesn't burn on applying and doesn't burn my eyes if sweating.

Used consistently for a few days and it broke me out. Removed it from my morning routine and my skin cleared up pretty quickly. The formula is heavy and greasy and has a sunscreen smell. It seemed to sit on top of my skin all day, even when a very light layer was applied. May be okay for occasional use but definitely not an every day sunscreen.

Not a dupe for La Roche Posay
If you are considering this because you heard it was a good dupe for the La Roche Posay Anthelios sunscreen (like me), I would not recommend. While the consistency is similar and it costs much less, the effectiveness of the sunscreen is miles apart. I never burned on my face when using La Roche Posay, but every time I have used Byoma and been out in the sun for any extended period of time, I burn on my forehead and nose. Also the tip has become clogged a few times and I've struggled to get the cream out, that never happened with the more expensive brand. So in conclusion, if you already use La Roche Posay and can afford it, don't switch to this one just to save money. I will be switching back after I finish this bottle (I won't waste what I've already bought).
