Good Molecules Moisturizing Rich Sunscreen Face Moisturizer - SPF 30 - 50ml

I bought this to save money and disregarded all the comments about it leaving a white film on your face because of how cheap it was compared to the Supergoop sunscreen I’d been using for YEARS. But alas, it does leave that white film on your skin and because it’s a thicker consistency I do find it peels off around my face throughout the day. I finished the bottle just to not waste product but I definitely wouldn’t recommend walking out with just this on your skin. Can’t wait to get back to my SuperGoop!

It never caused me a bad reaction. It did leave a dark cast on my deep toned skin. Less is more with this. I love Good Molecules so I finished the bottle, but excuse me while I go back to avoiding mineral sunscreens.

I haven’t tried to layer makeup over this, but it’s a very nice texture when applying. It’s light and doesn’t feel sticky. It doesn’t leave any white casting either. Doesn’t cause me to break out. It works really well at preventing sunburn as well.

It is thick and was pilling off 5 minutes after application.

If you’re of darker complexion this will leave you looking blue !! It says it’s suitable for all skin tones and types however I looked like a Gross Sister from The Proud Family. The consistency is nice, and there’s no smell but this is not dark skin friendly despite the label saying so.

Do not use this product if you have a peanut allergy! It contains pongamia pinnata seed extract, which is in the legume family. I had a severe allergic reaction after using this product once. I used it in the afternoon and the next morning I woke up with a rash on my face and neck where I had applied the product. By the following morning, my face, eyes, lips, and neck were swollen and warm to the touch. I'm now alternating between ice packs, cold chamomile compresses, and applying hydrocortisone cream to relieve my discomfort. The manufacturer should put a warning label on this product.

My Favorite SPF

I love this sunscreen. It’s highly rated on Yuka, is Zinc based, is one of the cleanest sunscreens I’ve been able to find, and doesn’t leave a white residue if you’re rub it in well. I wear it under foundation no problem! Also the price is great. Happy overall.

The cream itself is good, let me start with that. But the bottle constantly leaves a little hard piece of the dry cream at the tip so the next time you use it, the cream barely comes out…that is until you give slightly too much pressure and a huge squirt comes out of the bottle. So frustrating and I have wasted so much product due to the style of bottle. Very disappointing and annoying

I put it on waited a few minutes hoping it would disappear into my skin. It did not. Definitely not for all skin types.

Didn’t work well for me. Peeling just a mess. I wouldn’t recommend this product.

Let me start by saying I have fair, dry, sensitive skin. I also use tretinoin 2-3 times a week. I’ve tried sooo many mineral sunscreens and this one is it for me. It goes on like a face cream which I love for my dry skin. It blends in well leaving no white cast (again though, I’m fair skinned) and sits perfectly under foundation and my latest obsession, tinted hydrator. I’m acne prone and this sunscreen has caused no breakouts. My absolute favorite part? No smell. Like…zero. If you are at all like me (fair, dry, sensitive) I definitely recommend trying this sunscreen!

Great score on Yuka and the least “pasty” face lotion w/ spf that I’ve ever found.

This product looks thick when you first dispense it, but it applies very lightly on the skin and almost made me want to use more. My skin absorbed it pretty quickly as well. However, I did notice some breakouts and slight redness after using it. Like any skincare product, results will vary from person to person. Unfortunately, this one didn’t work well for me, so I won’t be purchasing it again.

My only issue is that it’s a tad too thick of a consistency for me. I know it’s described as “rich”, but I feel like it’s too thick for me. I hope they come out with second sunscreen with a thinner consistency!

Used it for the first time at night and woke up to huge swollen and rash on my face awful product not for me :(

Started using several weeks ago & so far I’m in love. I have super sensitive skin & I’m desperately trying to repair my skin barrier & a rosacea flare up from trying a different product. So far I love that it leaves zero white cast on my skin. I do have dry skin but currently my skin is properly hydrated while & I suspect it could be noticeable if you had lots of dry flakes for it to adhere to instead of sink in to the skin. I also love that it’s super light weight. I let it settle for about 5 minutes before applying makeup & I experience no pelling through the day. I do wish it was higher than 30 SPF because come summer I’m going to have to find something different. But this product will definitely be in my rotation in the winter months.

It does *not* leave a white cast if you properly cleanse & moisturize beforehand. Definitely hydrating. Can *sometimes* make my face itch slightly in high allergen seasons, but I have the most sensitive skin in the world so it's a miracle to me! No eye burning, no rash, no drying. Wonderful formula also.

Well, this was a super disappointing experience. My results were completely different from the positive reviews. The white cast is very noticeable. My skin tone is medium-light, leaning lighter, and I saw it immediately. It left a visible white film that made me look washed out and it didn’t fully blend away no matter how much I worked it in. The formula also dries extremely fast, almost as soon as it touches the skin, making it hard to spread evenly. I found myself tugging at my face just to apply it, which isn’t ideal for daily skincare. Instead of feeling smooth and effortless, the application felt rushed and uneven. The experience felt stressful rather than effortless, and sunscreen is one step that should feel simple and reliable. I was unsure about this brand going in, and while I’m glad I tried it, this sunscreen isn’t for me. I’ll be returning it and won’t repurchase.
