A: Hello, Yes you can, in order to do so you will need to only put the amount of water that is needed in the water reservoir to brew just 2 cups of coffee into the glass carafe.

This coffee machine is a very handy and versatile product that offers a variety of options. Between the quick easy options of a full pot of coffee or a single serve you have a multitude of choices. It is handy with the scheduling function to set it to make it the next morning so you are awaken by the fresh smell of coffee. I highly recommend this machine for all.

I've been using Cuisinart coffeemaker for 20 years now. The last one, a combo like this was acting up. Nice to see they listened to those complaining about the side the carafe was on. That left side placement was awkward for the majority of us righthand people. Relieving pressure to open pod side a big improvement as well. Can't see me ever going to a different brand.

Traded older model for this unit. Loved other model just wanted to upgrade. Great move. Smaller space yet better electronics. Easier and faster then older one. Brews “ better” coffee on either side. No idea why but wow what a difference.

The first one overflowed with coffee grounds, which i had read in reviews. I decided to return it and try another. I think that problem is caused by not pushing-snapping the ground cup in place. So far all is good. It is a great coffeemaker and looks good on my counter.

I'm giving this coffee maker two stars because I do like it's functionality and it does a good job at brewing with the wedge shaped basket, better than the flat ones. But the reason my review is negative is because I'm reviewing a replacement unit after the original failed in less than six months. I've had cheap coffee makers that lasted so long they got grimy or I wanted a fancier model, I just tossed them. But the carafe heater / water boiler NEVER failed, and this one failed in less than six months. For a unit at this price point that is unacceptable.

Our 10yr coffeemaker, Cuisinart, died. We looked at different brands and types. We kept coming back to the dual one. It makes a full pot and single serving. I'm still learning how to use it but keep wondering if I made a mistake. It brews ok but I keep getting grounds in the pot. I can't seem to get the "bold" to come on or lengthen the thing that extends the warming part timing

I bought this about a year ago. It’s my third Cuisinart coffee maker and I’ve loved the two previous ones. I’m so disappointed in this one. The pod side is fine. The carafe side makes the worst tasting coffee. It usually tastes burnt. I can’t even use it. I don’t have the receipt so I can’t return it to kohls. I never registered it for the warranty if there was one. I guess I’ll learning from my mistake.

This is, by far, the best coffee machine I have owned. The brews are consistent and hot. I appreciate the flip down little tray for the pod side that raises the cup so there is no splashing from brewing and you just flip it back up when using a travel mug plus, it looks great and saves space. PSA, pay attention when the "clean" indicator light comes on. I didn’t and the carafe side stopped working. My fault and i biughr the exact same model to replace it...I liked this machine that much.

Makes great coffee, both brewed and Keurig. One bad feature is that you have to set it to bold every time you do a brew and there’s no way to set it to bold for a timed brew in the future. If you want it bold you should be able to get it bold every time you do a brew. Need to fix this.

The first unit that we purchased also had a leak which Cuisinart replaced with no issues. Our second and third units were fine and just wore out after a few years. The store replaced the 4th unit and we hope we will have no further issues. We like this unit because it is the only 2-in-1 unit on the market.

We love Cuisinart appliances and this coffee maker suits our needs. We love it except for one thing. The K Cup side will get clogged with coffee grinds and pop open the K cups leaving a coffee grind mess!

I have had the replacement for a few weeks and have already had trouble again with the pod portion. I occasionally have a cupful of grounds. It’s not every day but I can’t figure out what the problem is. Pretty disappointing!
