Top Of The Line

Best Radar Detector for the money!

I compared it to my Unidon R4 and it did have a slight advantage in range. I love its compact size. Good job! Now put some arrows on here and keep it the same size!

Audio clarity

So far so good. I must say, I don't like the audio as it is hard to understand what "she" is saying. I would have thought it would have been a lot clearer and precise for this price point. That is really my only concern as of now as I have had it out on the road for only 2 hours.

I've been spoiled by the

I've been spoiled by the higher priced detectors in the lineup. Filtering is not satisfactory in the Max 4, nd I missed the directional indicators. I returned my new Max 4 and upgraded to the 360c MKII.

I had a IXc. Was told this was a good upgrade from that unit. So far I'd say it's the same. Except now I get all the alerts I didn't use to get. I understand the detector will learn as I go, but I'm a bit disappointed with the max 4!
