Water gets into batteries
We bought three: a fish, a turtle, and the axolotyle. The axolotyle keeps letting water into the battery area and stops working after 30 seconds. These batteries aren't cheap and after reading reviews, I see everyone is having the same problem. My toddler is not going to be very happy when I tell her the axolotyle will not work anymore.

my girls love this! they both have their own for bath time. they dont swim too long on their own but all you have to do is touch the 2 dots and it starts up again.

Pass on this one! It didn’t swim at all. The tail was making clicking noise but it didn’t move.

We bought 2 of these and one didn't work at all and the other just a short time. Definitely not worth the money and disappointing to a child that gets it for a gift.

Never worked from the very beginning. Returned it and got a new one, same exact thing. Never worked. Returned. Very disappointed 4 year old.

Dont waste your money seriously
This thing doesn’t swim! Barely moves and has my toddler in tears ! Which is such a bummer cause we have the turtle and love it

Looks so real!!
My daughter got this with her gift card and this is so cute and interactive. She loved to play with it in the bath.
