Signature Day Trip Backpack - Open Story™ Blue: Recycled Nylon, Water-Resistant

Just picked this up today and it's going to make a great baby diaper bag. there's pockets for everything and I like how the side bottle pockets expand out rather than pushing in to take up space on the inside like I see with so many traditional diaper bags. With it being a regular backpack, I'll be able to use it eventually as a personal travel item and it's still going to be great. Looking forward to getting it all packed up.

This backpack is amazing as far as quality and design goes. Unfortunately, mine arrived with an ink mark on the side.

I LOVE THIS BACKPACK!! I have been searching high and low and purchased several other more expensive bags for business trips before buying this. I can't express how much I love this one - I think my search is finally over. I love the organization front pocket, and the velvet lined upper pocket is the chef's kiss!! Perfect for phone, glasses, earbuds, powerbank, makeup compact, or whatever. It's the pocket you never knew you needed. Water bottle sides work great, zippers are easily accessible, etc. Also holds a ton. In the interior I had my 'liquids' cosmetic case, a big packing cube full of snacks, wet wipes, toilet seat covers, feminine products, a book, a power cable, lighted led mirror, papers, etc. My laptop, too, of course. It fit a lot. Also, it was so much easier and more comfortable to carry than any of my other bags. I thought the padding was a little excessive until I had to carry it on my back through endless terminals. It was actually more comfortable for me to carry it on my back than to place it on my rolling suitcase. When I did, though, it fit perfect and was much easier to put on with the luggage strap than any of my other bags. I had a tough time choosing between this and the Open Story commuter backpack. I thought the commuter backpack had a classy more professional look, but for actual traveling, this is the one to get. Couldn't be more happy with this bag!!

I love this backpack! Good for business trips!

I’ve been using this backpack to go to/from the classroom. The back laptop pocket is perfect for my MacBook Air and is well-cushioned to protect electronics. The middle pocket has a sleeve that’s great for papers and an open storage area with enough space for my lunch container and other snacks. The front bottom pocket includes slots for a wallet, pens, and a key leash. The front top pocket is lined with felt for a phone or glasses. The side pockets stretch enough for my large water bottle. The straps are comfortable and the top handle is easy to carry. Thoughtful organization and access! Try to get this while it’s on-sale.

I have the taupe bag. It's aesthetically pleasing. The design is effective and functional. I enjoy the pockets and safe area's for my laptops. It was comfortable in the beginning. After a few months of use, it isn't anymore. The padding is fine. However, the backpack shoulder strap's have slipped on both sides. They won't stay in place when I adjust them. This makes wearing the backpack incredibly uncomfortable. I really wish I could return the bag because it wasn't cheap. But it also isn't working for me anymore. I utilize the bag daily for work and school purposes.

Definitely does not fit a 16" laptop

I use this backpack for college which I just carry my laptop, iPad, notebooks, and personal care things here and there. Its got comfortable padding for the back and fits my laptop without feeling like its bulky. 1000% recommend!

Literally the best bag I’ve ever owned. I use it as my everyday work purse and then on weekends out with the kids. If I were a new mom I’d 100% get this to use as my diaper bag! So many great pockets, holds 2 water bottles. My only wish is if they had black with gold zippers so it’s more feminine- I’d buy a second one if they did.

Has lasted me 4+ years of intense use for school, work and weekly flights as a carryon! Please never stop selling this :)

I have been using this backpack daily for about five years and it’s truly perfect. I use it for work every day and it is also my personal item for all plane trips. The straps are well padded for when you stuff it full. Laptop sleeve is padded, main compartment is spacious, water bottle elastic stays strong, and I love the little softly lined sunglasses compartment. Well made and very well designed.

This is my everyday work bag. Holds my laptop and accessories, my umbrella, wallet and everything else I need on a day to day basis. Love the RFID pocket for my wallet. Well worth the money. It's comfortable to carry and really does hold everything that I need to function. 10/10 recommend

I have a job that requires me to carry paper materials around a large hospital campus, and bought this bag with appreciation for its many useful compartments and its good looks. Unfortunately, it only lasted me about 9 months before the padding in the straps wore out and became thin and useless. I was not overloading the bag or putting very heavy things in it, either. I’ll be going back to using sturdier brands for my work bag.

This is a great backpack for traveling especially in Europe. The international specifications for airline travel are a bit smaller than US travel. This was my personal item travel and the RFID pocket was a plus. It holds a lot and has many pockets. It fits on a suitcase with the back strap. And it’s water resistant. It’s perfect!!

I got this with a 20% off but even without I would have splurged. It’s such amazing quality; when I was looking at it in store and every compartment I was like wow. Especially the laptop cushioning. It feels high quality. I’m excited to use it this fall :)

It’s a beautiful backpack to simply look at. Plus the value of it is worth it, you definitely pay what you get here.
