Soy Flour - Oh No

Very disappointed that the waffle mix has soy flour in it. My sister is gluten intolerant, but is deathly allergic to anything with soy (flour or oil) in it. I know soy flour allows you to not have to charge too much for this item, but please consider something other than soy flour. Thank you.

Even non GF people like these pancakes!

I have ordered this mix since it was offered. I am GF and had tried many different mixes. This is the best. I do add more than the called for milk otherwise the batter is too thick. Adding blueberries to the batter is even better!! Hope this is always available!

gluten free pacake mix

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I found that pancakes made with this mix were awful. Those made with the regular mix are wonderful. I was very disappointed, and don't really understand the difference.

Just too sweet...

I found these to be disappointing in that they are too sweet. The texture is quite heavy, as well, when prepared according to instructions. I gave the mix to another person with celiac to try. While I'm grateful SK is trying to offer gluten-free items, I'm sad that they seem to follow the same path that many companies offering GF items take- making things super sweet to compensate for the lack of body that comes from gluten proteins. So many prepared GF items are too sweet and therefore not very healthy options for regular eating. For people with celiac disease, who must eat GF, it's frustrating. Off to look for keto options...

Disappointed

This was a new purchase and I was so looking forward to eating the light, fluffy pancakes pictured on the container. I followed the directions exactly, but found the mixture so dense, I didn't even add the full cup of mix it called for. The pancakes felt very heavy in my stomach. Either the recipe needs to be adjusted, or the mix is simply going to produce heavy pancakes no matter what. I will try a thinner version with more liquid, but for now, very disappointed since my gluten-free lifestyle leaves very little food to actually love.

Best Gluten Free Pancake Mix

This mix produced light and fluffy pancakes, unlike any gluten-free pancake mix we've ever tried (& we have tried so many over the years). I had all but given up on finding a decent gluten-free pancake mix until my husband ordered this. Will definitely be buying this mix again.

Pancake Mix, delicious evern after a year

I purchased this a year ago for Christmas morning pancakes, they were delicious and fluffy. A year went by and we had the rest of the container this Christmas (2020). The mix was just as good as when I first purchased it. I will be reordering this pancake mix for next year. You won't be disappointed.

The Best Gluten Free mix out there

My son has celiac and has tried pretty much every pancake mix on the market. He thinks this is by far the best he's ever tried. He has made pancakes and waffles with the mix and had success with both. The flavor is so wonderful that he even uses less syrup or other toppings on the pancakes or waffles. I would definitely recommend.
