Q: How often should I be changing my razor heads if I shave one maybe twice a week (I don't need to shave often since I don't have thick hair) and should I change handle too or just blades? Thank you!

  • A: At some point you will need to change the handle. It is good for several years so not a big deal. The reasons you will need to change it would be when you notice the backside of the handle where the blade fits in gets gunk in it. Where gunk will be a combination of soap, body wash, hair, etc. the other reason is when/if the magnetic piece on the handle that attaches to the razor holder pops out of the handle.

  • A: Hi there! Our handles are made from durable but lightweight plastic with a matte rubber grip, and are meant to last for years. Additionally, we like to recommend changing your blade after ~7 shaves. That said, everybody (and the density of their hair) is a little bit different so go with your gut on this one. If it starts to feel dull after 5 shaves, swap it out. If you have light hair, you might be able to keep it for 10 shaves. Up to you!

  • A: To get a fresh blade on your handle: 1. Push the Billie button forward to release the old blade. 2. Open one side of the plastic case, with the blade face down. 3. Push the handle slowly and firmly into the middle of the blade until it clicks into place. 4. Make sure your new blade is facing the right way up with the white strip on the bottom.

    waste of money

    probably one of the worst razors I have used. If your skin is sensitive maybe give it a second thought. It does not provide a close shave, the aloe gel surrounding the razor get all mushy and gross by the second use. I had been using the Goodfellow razors for over a year and I loved it! so sad it was discontinued. I wish they had refills without the aloe gel to give it another chance.

    Only razor I will use.

    It’s like my 4 time repurchasing it. They last forever but I always end up losing my Billie razor when I go on vacation. It always gives me a smooth shave that last longer than any other razor I’ve tried and it’s never nicked me. The razor also has a water activated gel band on it which helps getting a smooth shave

    Too bulky

    I truly wanted to love this razor because I love this company and their messaging, but when it comes to performance I’ve never had a worse razor. It is so bulky that it feels like the razors don’t even reach my skin. I have to go over places multiple times to get a clean shave. Love the magnet for the shower, but overall pretty useless

    Love the magnetic holder, so cute, but literally everything else about this razor sucked. This is the only razor that has given me ingrown hair and razor bumps, ever. I feel as if it's not getting a close shave at all. I can see tiny stubble directly after shaving. Further, one time I forgot to put it back on the magnet, and because my shower shelf was wet, the moisturizing coating around the razor head completely melted into goop. Expensive too. I felt that I wasted my money on this for the cute colors and packaging.

    What I like: Cute, shaves good, I like the convenience of the holder. What I don’t like: I’ve never in my life had a razors that gives me an unbearable itch. I thought it was my deodorant, which would be odd because it’s a deodorant I’ve used for a while. I would switch up the heads frequently and still the itch that I would experience is RIDICULOUS. I would look insane scratching my armpits in public but I just had to relieve the uncomfortable-ness of it. Also the slimy head…. It’s very unpleasant. Instead of the hydrating/smoothing effect of a gel strip, you would feel the razor slipping and sliding on your skin.

    I bought this on vacation as I needed a razor. The magnetic holder fell off right away, and the razor broke, and I had to replace the razor immediately, only for the second one to not be able to come out of the plastic coating. I wouldn't recommend buying.
