New Sunscreen Formula is terrible

Unfortunately the new formula is terrible. It's very gritty which created issues getting it out of the tube and now much thicker so it's more difficult to rub in. I miss the old sunscreen which I loved

Within a month the top of the bottle somehow broke and started leaking. Such a waste of money, didn’t even make it into the summer.
Bad new formula..

I repurchased this summer after purchasing for many summers before and the new formula is horrible. It has a gritty texture that clogs the dispenser hole and is soooo sticky compared to the old formula and doesn’t rub in well. Definitely leaves a white cast as well, which most mineral sunscreens do, but that’s why Pipettes old formula was different. So disappointed and will never purchase again! Also, they made the containers smaller by an ounce. Huge rip off for less sunscreen and way worse formula than before. All good things must come to an end. Lost a customer.

The original pipette sunscreen formula was the only sunscreen I purchased for many years. It used to be lightweight, creamy, and hydrating before the awful change to become sticky and water resistant. I will no longer purchase this product. Hopefully, Pipette will recognize this and bring back the original formula.

Do not buy! I bought this for my sun who is In sports. I applied it all over and especially on his neck since it’s the area most exposed. It severely burned his neck! His neck started peeling badly the day after. He’s five! I can’t imagine what this would do to baby skin.

I wanted to give this a try since it has no toxic chemicals. Unfortunately it did not provide any coverage on my daughter. She was sunburned pretty badly. I had to return and buy the previous product I use.

I’ve been buying the Pipette Mineral Sunscreen for several years now and considered it my holy grail product. When my multi-racial daughter was born 2 years ago, I started using this product on her after the age of 6 months. No white cast in sight for either of us and it rubbed in effortlessly. There was nothing that compared to this. I could easily skip makeup, mascara, even a moisturizer but never ever this sunscreen. Unfortunately for us, and a lot of others based on the reviews I’ve seen, the new formula has been absolutely terrible. Thick, heavy, not moisturizing, and leaves an obvious white cast on anyone who is not the color of milk. This “improved formula” was clearly not tested on anyone of color and it’s obvious that the brand does not value loyalty from this demographic, especially given their refusal to act on the numerous poor reviews of this new formula. I’ll be searching for a new product and brand.

please bring back the old formula. I loved it before there was a short period when there must have been a bad batch and everyone was breaking out with a rash. I don't like the new version and please consider carrying the older version again as well.
Old formula was better

I have always been a loyal fan of Pipette spf but I can’t get behind the new formula. It’s a lot thicker, harder to apply, and they downsized the bottle while raising the price. Hopefully they listen to their customers and switch back. I would rather it not be water resistant with the old reliable formula than what it is now.
excellent!

It’s good but not as good as the old formula. I like that it’s waterproof but I’m annoyed that they got rid of the old formula & raised the price for less product. I will be looking for a new mineral body SPF sadly. This was always my go to but the bottle is just SO Tiny now.

This was my favorite sunscreen until they changed something about it. I ordered one in February and it was 4 ounces and it worked great! Then I re-ordered in May and it’s now 3 ounces and a completely different product.
Applies nicely. Except natural protection

Just started using the sunscreen spf 50. Live the way it applies and appears on skin. I live in an area in SoCal and reach 💯+ temps in summer
So bummed with change!

I am so bummed about this formula change- loved this as the only sunscreen we’ve used for 5 years until now! It’s so thick I can’t rub it in and my kids are sticky after application.
Bring back the original please

This is not an upgrade from the new formula. It's completely different, sticky, white, has less squalene and no glycerin, etc etc. If you need to extra stick for swimming or water play, then great, but as an everyday sunblock this is not a good choice. Plus it's more expensive for less product. When I started buying pipette years ago it was a great pricepoint, but it's been creeping up and now this is just too far. Nothing good seems to last. I have used pipette daily for my whole family for years, and bought 20+ tubes a year, but I'll be switching to Native.

This is ok if you’re at the beach and good for sensitive skin, but thicker and harder to spread than the original formula. Original formula was much better for daily use and under makeup. Please bring it back!
