Buyer Beware
Do not buy this listing! Listing states that the car seat comes with a base, and it does not. I ordered this during Targets 40% off sale with Joie and thought I would be getting the car seat and base. When just the car seat showed up, I reached out to target and they sent me a replacement. The replacement also did not come with a base. After speaking with customer support again, they realized the listing was incorrect. Customer support helped me get the correct item, and offered to either have the two car seats picked up by USPS for refund or I could return both of the first two wrong items myself in store for refund. I’m 36 weeks pregnant, so I chose USPS to pick up my items. The two car seats have been returned for 10 days now and still no refund from Target. Now Target is saying the items were delivered to the wrong place (not the customers fault, I printed out the return labels they sent me!) and they need to investigate and get back to me in another 7 business days. I advised them to change the listing title, and they haven’t done that either. Please do not buy this listing! Target does not care about its customers.

The best car seat ever
Honestly in love with this car seat. My husband was very skeptical at first because neither of us had any experience with a baseless car seat but it just seemed too convenient to pass up. I did a ton of research and watched/ read multiple CPST reviews before pulling the trigger. After months of car seat research honestly I came to the conclusion that with the amount of safety testing all car seats go through these days you can’t go wrong no matter what you buy, but this thing rocks. It is so easy to transfer between any vehicle. Me and baby can go out with friends or relatives and not always have to take our car or have to transfer a base over. It’s so fast and easy to install. I will say to just double check your vehicle before purchasing because there are a few vehicles that don’t have latch bars. My husbands 2014 F250 work truck for example which we didn’t realize until a couple months in with our newborn. The seat still works with a seatbelt! Just much less convenient/safe feeling. But we only have to use that vehicle to pick him up from daycare and that’s a short drive luckily.

Chest Buckle too Sensitive
WARNING for long term use. My 14 month old can (way too easily) unlatch the chest buckle on this carseat with one finger. There is absolutely no reason why that should be able to happen. Unbelievable. This is my third infant carseat and a first for us. Will no longer recommend this brand.

Outgrown too fast
Car seat is light weight and easy to install and use. The baseless feature is very nice and convenient. However, if I would NOT recommend this seat because my child is only 2 months and already at the top shoulder height adjustment. She is slightly above average in percentile so it’s not like she’s an exceptionally huge baby. After realizing this, I looked at other infant car seats at target and saw that they had 5 shoulder strap adjustments or were the type where you don’t need to re-thread, but they also went up quite a bit. Whereas the Joie mint latch only has 3 shoulder height adjustments. The manual says the child’s head should be 1 inch from the top of the car seat, but it would be totally impossible for her head to get there because her shoulders are so low in the seat (as you can see in the picture). To me, this seems like a design flaw and I’m very disappointed to have done a bunch of research on what car seat to get and spent money on this only to have it last a couple months. My other children had graco infant seats and used them up to at least 9 months. What’s even more dissatisfying is that I got the ginger stroller, which is nice but now no other infant car seat can go with it because they are only compatible with each other. In the future if we travel, we’ll have to figure out and possibly get something else because in the past we’ve traveled with our infant car seat. I reached out to Joie but they only confirmed that I had the right fit on my child in the car seat and didn’t reply when I voiced my disappointment. I was excited to use this system as they have great reviews and features, but their customer service has also turned me off.

Poor Customer Service.
Do not recommend. Our one of our latches went bad on the car seat and in order for them to replace it I had to return the old seat first. Leaving me with no seat and no way to transport my baby for an unforeseen amount of time. I will just be purchasing from another brand instead.

Head Flops Foward, Poor Fit
This car seat is absolutely awful! As a first time mom I kept saying it looked wrong, and so uncomfortable for our newborn, as if her head was pushed forward causing her chin to be down on her chest (super unsafe)! Also the fit was never right, the straps would dig into her neck and they seem too narrow with the padded straps. She’d cry every-time she’s get in it, I thought she hated car rides which resulted in me being stuck home as I couldn’t get but 2 minutes down the road for her to cry. Turns out it’s this car seat! I purchased another brand and haven’t had any issues, she does so good in ca rides, loves them! I did a google search as well and turns out this is a known issue with Joie car seats brand and fit! It’s very cheap! Do yourself a favor and get a different brand as this just adds so much stress to your newborn experience!

One of the best car seats for infants I would recommend to everyone!
At first I wasn’t sure about this car seat, I loved everything advertised but since it was still a new product & not too many reviews I was unsure about how it would hold up. Here is my review, my daughter just turned 10 months, and we’ve used it daily ever since she was born. It took some getting used to putting it in the car with the adapters but became so quick and easy now being baseless, all our friends are amazed at how that works. Easy to switch to another vehicle without the use of a seat belt. It even clicks into a shopping cart basket not to slide around when at the grocery store. The only signs of use are at the head rest, a little wear on the sticker, and little fabric fuzz, but after washing it in the washing machine already up to 5 times, I’d say it’s in fresh shape. ☺️ The extended canopy is really great, especially when the days are cold and windy, keeps her nice and warm inside. The car seat itself is very very light in my opinion, our 3 year old brings it to us without having to drag it. Compared to other car seats like Nuna I’d say this one is definitely more laid back when it’s clicked into the stroller, I’ve seen others and looks like the baby is sitting up too much but this one lets her sleep well without her head falling at all. Anyone having a baby and looking into this car seat, I would definitely recommend and I am in no way getting paid or sponsored or whatever for this, I just love reading honest reviews before purchases and thought I would include mine :)

I am disappointed in the quality of this seat. We’ve used it for 5 months and the cloth has worn a hole where my daughter’s feet are. I have a Graco seat hold up through over two years of use between my two sons. I reached out to the company and their only solution was to buy a new cover at my own expense.

Easy Install & Lightweight
Very lightweight and simple install that takes seconds. My baby has looked consistently comfortable and secure in it so far from 8lbs to now 13lbs. The canopy goes down very far, so it’s easy to hide him from oversteppers in the stores during flu/RSV season.

Best Car Seat EVER
We LOVE this car seat!! It is so light, making it so much easier to carry baby and my back doesn’t hurt afterwards. The mint latch is so handy, since you don’t have to switch a car seat base between vehicles. The car seat was so easy to figure out and baby fits so comfortably in the seat. I have recommended this to everyone and they all agree this is the best car seat you can buy - and honestly the best price too!!

Amazing Carseat!
As a first time mom i did so much research on what car seat to get and i always went back to this one! Amazing quality and i love the baseless feature. Even though it’s a little more expensive, I didn’t want to have to buy a base for another car. I also love the joie stroller that you can just click it into as well. I would definitely recommend this car seat!

Evergreen not green at all
Great car seat and easy to install but the evergreen color is 100% not green at all, definitely looks gray and I don’t even see any hint of green on it. Disappointed in the color because I was looking forward to the green like it’s pictured but if you buy it don’t expect a green car seat lol.

We absolutely love our Mint Latch! It is perfectly lightweight which made my postpartum recovery SO much easier. Being able to click in and out is so convenient. The only time we have found it tricky is if we have a seat protector on which makes it a little harder to see where the anchors are.

I absolutely love the ease of these baseless car seats as a twin mom. However, my biggest problem was finding the right stroller. I ended up purchasing the Mockingbird stroller with the Nuna Pipa RX adapters. I had to play around with the position of the adapters to find the right match for each car seat and then numbered them. Dont make the same mistake I made and waste your money on the Joie adapters as they only work WITHOUT the top and bottom adapters. Hope this helps a fellow twin mom!
