Sadly to say I bought this scanner five years ago and never used it because I was afraid of it when I was in high school a canner exploded and they had 11 foot ceilings and the lid was stuck in the ceiling. There was glass and tomato everywhere. luckily we had gone to lunch and when we came back, that’s how the room was Unbelievable well, my friend who has a canner and has been doing this for many many years said I will help you with this. I got the canner down off the shelf on my husband did for me. I put it on the counter and I read the instructions and I thought boy what a stupid person I was This was probably the easiest thing to use in the world so my first attempt was beef stew it came out great tomorrow I’m going to do meatloaf and then I’m going to do beef, vegetable soup, chicken and spinach casserole type dish and a few others. I have venison. I’ve got rabbit you know but anyway so I’m very very happy with my canner. Yes I’m extremely happy with it. I love it. I can’t say enough about it enough of my rambling.

I have had my canner a couple years now and have really started using it the last couple months. It’s been such a joy to make all my summer sauces and soups and actually free up freezer space. It has not only been a canner, but a large batch soup pot as well. Wish I had a second one, but I don’t have the space

Other than the gasket this canner will last a lifetime. Works 100 percent perfect. You cannot go wrong with this pressure canner. You can spend more for a canner but it is not necessary.

Saved up for quite sometime to get this canner imported into Ireland, delighted to receive it today, looking forward to using it this harvest season. A weighted regulator as an option rather than additional purchase would be nice.

Haven't used it yet but I'm sure I'll love it when I get back into canning. Really like that I will be able to stack jars and get more done at one time.

Bought mine several years ago. LOVE IT. Looking to get another as I can all year. One will be strictly my outside canner and one inside.

I have used Presto canners for years. I have both the 23 quart and 16 quart canners. I have never had an issue with the canner holding pressure or in any other way. I can all kinds of things and multiple times during the year.

I purchased this item so that I could can meats. I have canned beef, pork, and chicken. This pressure cooker/canned comes with many safety features is it certainly isn’t your grandmothers pressure cooker! I found it to be extremely safe & easy to use. Can’t wait to can more meats and then venture into canning chili, soups & veggies!!

Everything worked perfectly. The instruction manual was clear. The canning process was very straightforward. I can't wait to use my presto canner again!

This is my fourth one. Gave my daughters one and taught her how to can. She also said “Why haven’t I done this years ago?” So easy to do and she now understands why I did it when they were growing up! I don’t can as much just a few things for two of us but years ago save time I had two canners going to get done! Always used Presto and my girls use same brand!!! They know they last my first one I got over 40 years ago still going strong!!

Bought mine 2 years ago and use it all the time! I have put up tomatoes, peas, corn, soups, stews, spaghetti sauce, pulled pork, chicken and lots of other things. Very simple to understand and to use. I’ve never had anything not seal and spoil. I love canning.
