It is the same material used to produce all of our food storage items. To ensure we offer only quality and safe products, no PVCs, Latex, Teflon, Phthalates chemicals, fungicides, Bisphenol A (BPA), or antibacterial chemicals are used in our manufacturing process.     Toxic

    It smells VERY toxic. I was hoping it’d go away after a week or so but it hasn’t. This can’t be healthy.

Polypropylene sometimes has a plastic smell (especially the clear products) when first purchased that dissipates fairly rapidly once the product is unpacked and put to use. Washing with a lemon scented or grease fighting detergent and rinsing thoroughly helps dispel any noticeable odor. Detergents sometimes adhere to plastics and you will want to wipe and rinse well. Air or towel dry.

    Missing lids!

    Dimensions are off!

    The depth and width for the 15qt is actually off by a whole inch! It's actually 6.5"H x 10 5/8"W x 16 5/8"D... Otherwise this item would've been perfect for what I needed... very sturdy and I have this same item in other sizes as well.

    Hi Jdgzlez! The 15 Qt. Storage Box has Outside Dimensions that measure: 17 1/8" L x 11 1/4" W x 6 1/2" H. and Interior Dimensions at the bottom that measure: 14" L x 9 1/4" W x 5 3/4" H. The dimensions listed on our website and labels are the measurements taken from the widest points of the product, typically the lid or top, and include any protrusions such as latches. Inside bottom dimensions are smaller as the product tapers downward. This is the universal method for measuring housewares.
