A: Zevo sprays are not toxic for people or pets when used as directed. The essential oils - the active ingredients that kill the bugs - sometimes leave behind a noticeable odor. So we recommend using a rag or paper towel to wipe up excess product. That will help weaken the scent. You can also wet your rag or paper towel with a mixture of Dawn dish soap and warm water to reduce the smell even more. Spray and run.
Yes it kills flies but you need a gas mask to use it. Smell is horrible and really strong. Small spray and you wanna run into another room. This can’t be pet friendly if it’s not human friendly. But yea it kills flies and probably a bunch of brain cells

This product fails to kill any spiders even with multiple spraying on the same insect.

Zevo sprays act quickly to kill bugs but the time it takes may vary depending on the size of the bug and the amount of product that contacts it. Generally, the bigger the bug, the longer it will take for the bug to die. This is the case for Zevo and for any pest control product. A good tip is to make sure you spray the bug completely with Zevo, especially if it’s a big one! One or two pulls of the trigger on the Multi-Insect Spray or a 1 to 2 second spray with the Aerosol sprays should be enough to handle small the medium size bugs… but if you have large bugs (like big cockroaches), it may require an extra dose. Make sure the bug gets covered by the Zevo spray to the point where it’s wet. We'd like to get more information to help, as well as share your experience with our Quality Team. Migraine Trigger and Greasy Mess
This stuff is terrible and should be taken off the market. First and foremost it says to spray bugs and wipe up. Ha! Wipe that oily greasy mess? Not gonna happen. Even after using straight Dawn the floor was still greasy and that horrible minty smell still lingered. Oh the smell! That smell is horribly strong of mint and something else I couldn't pin point. I had a full blown migraine within 20 minutes of spraying it. I will never purchase another Zevo product again!

There's nothing more important to us than our users safety and satisfaction, so we're truly sorry to hear about the experience that you've had. This isn't what we expect with our quality and safety checks. While scent preferences will vary from person to person, the scent should never be too strong and minty that it results in a migraine when used as directed. Because you had this experience, we ask that you discontinue using it. There are two possible reasons for strong/lingering scent. One of which is a lot of product was applied and it wasn't completely wiped up. The second being that the product was wiped up and it left an oily residue. We realize that you found it difficult to wipe up, even though you used Dawn. We're unsure how you used Dawn exactly, but we recommend about a dime size of Dawn to one cup water. After cleaning the area with the Dawn solution, dry the area so it is no longer wet. We'd like to connect, make a report to our Safety Team and help. Please call us at (800) 374-9429.

This is because the other 40% is propellent which is needed to dispense the spray. If it isn't there, it wouldn't dispense. Repels all Creatures, Humans included
Only used once, in hopes of it working with a major spider invasion- more than one type. I try to douse spiders and their webs as much as I can so they dont have a chance to escape. I think it did kill them- that or they drowned from how much I sprayed. Downside- it smelled so strong that it has lasted for days. Not very pleasant in a small apt! Doesn't help that it didn't list lemongrass in the list of ingredients when there is a respiratory allergy to it in my family. Zevo and all natural products must list ALL ingredients for safety and liability.

Needs strong spray stream away
The product itself kills insects but, having a light lingering mist spray out is dangerous for the person spraying. It bothered my eyes, lungs, and skin.

This product uses oils that are highly toxic to many animals and this company refuses to admit to their negligence and false advertising. Already filed a complaint with the BBB and plan on returning this product as soon as possible! Do not buy!

Inconsistent with Strong Scent
The scent is so strong that it lasts for hours if you have to spray multiple places. Love all the rest of the products, but this doesn’t work that well and I cannot get rid of the scent.
