    Ripped out my hair and didn't stay put

    I wanted the double snap clips with grips but can't find anyone that makes them anymore. I figured I would try these.... super disappointed! I have thin fine hair and wanted clips to hold my baby hairs up when it's pulled back for work. 1. I didn't like the color option, my hair accessories has to match my hair for work, they only offer a variety pack giving me two sets I could possibly use for right around $7.00. 2. They were difficult to put in and ensure I was getting all the hair into the clip. 3. Their shape is a little awkward making them slide and allow hairs to come out. 4. They ripped out my hair at times when taking them out. 5. The color on the clips becan coming off after using roughly 3-5 times. Overall, I don't recommend these for functionality. If you're simply looking for something decorative these could work.... but for all the other reasons listed above, I feel like there's a ton of better options that are better quality and price. Returning these.

    Cute but grip too tight to open

    These are pretty and have a very strong grip on my fine hair. As the other posters stated they are extremely hard to put on and take off because they are hard to open. I needed something that would hold when I do head flicks when dancing Tango and these have that strength to keep my hair from going onto my face, but hard to place well and remove due to their super tight grip. Okay to use when practicing but not sure about when I attend parties since they are hard to place neatly. It’s interesting that the 5 star reviews are from those who were reimbursed to write a review.

    Disappointing

    They hold my hair in place reasonable well once they're in there, but are nearly impossible to PUT in my hair in the first place. The top and bottom edges are so tightly pressed shut, it is hard to open and keep it open long enough to wedge a bit of hair into it. I prefer regular bobby pins; though not as pretty, there is a small opening at the end for hair to slide into making them infinitely more easy to place in my hair.

    Ripped my hair and broke my nail

    These are unusable. They are so tight there’s no easy way to get them in or out of your hair. I’ve been a licensed hairstylist for 15 years and these are the worst hair clips/bobby pins I’ve ever used. They literally ripped my hair when I tried to slide it out of my hair. Do not buy.

    It does grip but it pulls the hair. When you remove, it also pulls strands with it. I do have fine hair and this does not stay put and lays funny, not flat. More for decoration or barrette style than an actual bobbi.
