I got the Robo Alive Fossil Find Amber Adventure for my 9-year-old and it was a big hit. He spent a good chunk of an afternoon digging out the fossils and putting the dinosaur together. The tools were easy for him to use on his own and the surprise of finding each piece made it extra exciting. Once built, the dinosaur is sturdy enough for active play with his other toys. It met my expectations for both fun and value. I would recommend it for kids six and up who enjoy dinosaurs, building, or hands-on activities. It is perfect for a summer break boredom buster, birthdays, rainy days, or just a fun project at home.

My daughters enjoyed this toy together, they were learning a lesson about dinosaurs and were able to share this toy together. There was a slime bag and a kinetic type sand bag and kept them both busy finding the bones. The toy was very fun for them, and offered great sensorial opportunities. It had a little “mallet” to dig for the bigger parts of the dinosaur skeletons. Really great variety of activities!
