Great starter track set for mainline Hot Wheels and Mariokart and Racerverse
This is a great starter track set. Not only do mainline hot wheels vehicles work but also hot wheels MarioKart and Racerverse vehicles work great. The launcher is powerful enough to add additional straight track sold separately at Target between the loops and at the end of the track and the vehicles will go the extra distance. If smaller kids can't hit the launcher hard enough additional track can be added before the loops to allow for a gravity drop set up for toddlers and the vehicles will complete the loops. This set includes a manual loop launcher that works well and can be used in other layouts and track sets It also includes a curve piece that works great with other track sets. If you combine this set with the Track Creator Boosted Jump Speedway Kit you can make a simple oval with a loop. So many options for a variety of ages of kids. Very fun to try out a variety of vehicles. We got a second set to have races side by side. Fast to put together and take apart. We store the pieces in a storage tub with a lid.

Expected better but it'll do for now.
It works well with lighter cars. If the launcher at the start of the track was as powerful as the one that pushes the cars through the one loop, it may be possible to use heavier cars. We're likely going to connect it to a set with a motorized launcher.

This is the best hot wheels loop we’ve owned!! If you’re having trouble getting it to work, you need to get a lighter weight car and set it up exactly like the picture on the box. Also, make sure you’ve correctly put the launcher together. We did it incorrectly at first and it didn’t work. If it’s put together how it’s intended, it works no problem!

Missing car.
I bought this as a Christmas gift for our grandson. We had a late Christmas with them this year and imagine his disappointment to find there was no car included so he couldnt play withy the race track. If you look at the front of the box on the upper right hand side, there is a window that is supposed to have a car. Ours was empty. The worst part is that we got the track all put together so he could play with it and found out the car was missing. Way to spoil a childs Christmas!

Great Starter Track
Christmas gift for my 3 year old son. Older brother has enjoyed playing with it (well I have too 😆). As others have stated cars with orange wheels (stunt track) cars go the furthest. Also got an expansion pack of track that has flexible track to build long tracks and make hills. With just launcher and booster you can build a long track and cars make it to the end. Track is very easy to snap/unsnap and reconfigure.

Total blast with the right cars!
This has been an absolute blast for my 8 year old sons. They love trying the different configurations and which cars make it through…the extra booster makes it exciting because cars make it through the longer course/loops. I was worried reading some of the reviews about cars not making it through….here’s the 2 tricks: (1) use hot wheel cars with *orange wheels* labeled “stunt” cars. Only those, and the one car the set comes with (interestingly enough though, that one has blue wheels lol). (2) Make sure you push down on the extra booster level each time before you send a car through the track. My kids figured this out before me. Between pushing the booster lever each time and using only the car it came with and the orange wheeled cars, we’ve never had a car not make it through! You can also add on other hot wheels tracks for endless configurations, which is great for using kiddos’ creativity, rather than the tracks that just loop over and over in battery powered loops, like some of the highest priced Hot Wheels sets out there. Highly recommend this one!
