Unique Loom Rabat Shag Collection Area Rug - Geometric (8' x 10' Rectangle Taupe/Ivory)

This ivory and black runner rug is the perfect addition needed to go in front of our soaker tub. It’s very soft and has a very thick high pile carpet. The rubber backing keeps the rug in place from slipping so no pad is needed.

Love this rug. So soft & cushy. My grandkids love to roll around & tumble on it. It is plush & thick, & soft. I got the cream colored one called taupe. It's true to color. In the photos it appears very light & then in others darker. I know it sound like a contradiction but it appears both ways in the room. Looking it at a distance in the room the pattern is more muted, diluted, faint looking & creamy & then standing looking down the design is more defined & the color a little darker, more taupe. It works perfectly in my room. I read reviews about other rugs & some complained that shags & plush rugs had thin or bald spots when the rug was folded back a little. This one is very thick & plush. It's hard to see the backing even when digging in the pile. Even though this rug is very soft I ordered a 1/2" rug pad so it is super soft to walk on now. My only concern is it's high off the floor for a rug & I worry someone might trip but so far that hasn't happened & that is "on me," not because of the rug or Rugs.com The rug arrived 2 days earlier than promised. It came folded & did not have any sort of creases or other packing issues to prevent it from lying smooth & flat on the floor right out of the plastic wrapping. It could be due to the weight of the rug & thickness. I read some rug reviews about creases from shipping & rugs never "relaxing" & lying flat. Thie rug was smooth & flat right out of the wrapper. We unfolded it & spread it out in the room & it looked perfect. One deciding factor in buying from Rugs.com was their return policy. I purchased a rug in a rug store w/ a return policy. I was able to see & feel that rug. They had a 7 day return policy so I could bring it home & see how it looked. I LOVED that rug in the store. It was beautiful & so soft. When I put it in the room it just didn't look good. I have 1 chair that is a pattern & that rug just conflicted with it's pattern. I returned it to that store, no issue...I shopped online for rugs & looked at another well known home furnishings online site w/ free shipping, 30 day return. The issue with that online retailer is for large items they make the customer pay return shipping. That was a deal breaker. I didn't want to buy a rug that looked bad in the room & have to pay to return it. If I tried more than 1 rug & returned them that could cost me a lot of money & at the end of the day I'd be out of money for return shipping & no rug. I shopped on Rugs.com & did a live chat with customer service to verify the return policy & they do NOT make the customer pay return shipping fees. That was the clincher. I had excellent customer service, quick delivery, great pricing, fast delivery, and great product. I will definitely recommend Rugs.com to others & shop again when I need a rug.
