    I absolutely love this product.

    I absolutely love this product. I didn't realize it was an coffee overpour unit, as I bought it strictly for tea hot water and it heats and keeps the water at the perfect temperature.

    I did a bunch of

    I did a bunch of research on kettles for pour overs, and the coffeeheads swore the Stagg EKG was the best. My partner is the primary coffee maker in our house, and after just a couple weeks, he is smitten with the Stagg. We love the temperature control, the hold setting, the speed, the accuracy of the pour, and the shape/feel of the kettle itself. The only two things I've noticed are 1) if you try to remove the lid by twisting the knob, the knob unscrews itself - it's a pull lid but it's firm, so it takes a little effort; and 2) the metal of the lid gets really hot (obviously) so you kind of have to be conscientious when taking it off right after use.

    The silicone seal on the

    The silicone seal on the lid slips off easily, requiring frequent re-installation. The plug for the power cord is non-standard compared to first gen Opus grinder, which is a 180 degree orientation rather than 90 degree orientation (not necessarily a terrible thing) which caused limitations for passing through cable grommets on the counter where the kettle lives, next to the grinder. I wish capacity was a bit larger for larger capacity pour over scenarios where I'm preparing more than 1L in volume and that the fill opening had a spout built in so that one can quickly pour contents for non-pour-over days.

    Love how easy the kettle

    Love how easy the kettle is to use. Makes my coffee brewing morning routine fun and easy. My only complaint is that the firmware update app “EKG Updater” doesn’t function correctly and always hangs when trying to update the firmware. It is quite frustrating. So I’m removing one star from my rating. Wish the team sees this and fixes the issues.
