Helps with WELL WATER. I have a new dishwasher and have tried everything to get a smell of "wet dog" off my dishes. This product with the bleach works extremely well. I do wish it had a lemon scent however it does not stop me from praising this wonderful product.

Cascade Platinum is hands down the best dishwasher detergent I’ve ever used! These ActionPacs are incredibly powerful — dishes come out spotless and shiny every single time, even without pre-rinsing. By the time the container is half full, the pods stock together and the detergent within the pods get on my hands. I have been careful to seal the lid, and still have the same issue.

Stagflation: Cut down from 62 pods to 59 while keeping the price at 19.99. 62 pods used to be 17.99 a year back. This is ridiculous pricing and a trick.

We’ve tried other brands for our dishwasher, but we always go back to Cascade. I like that I don’t need to measure anything out. We just plop one of these in our dishwasher and that’s it. We don’t always clean the utensils and plates really well before putting them in the dishwasher. They always come out clean without any residue on them at all. Very happy with this!

Cascade platinum plus always makes my dishes squeaky clean with no debris. They remove the dirtiest of dishes with no dried on debris. Very powerful and effective dish tabs. The cheaper models/varieties do not work as well as these. Scent is not at all overpowering. I love the tub vs the bags. Easier to keep safe from pets and easier to store.

After trying multiple dishwashing pods in an effort to save money, I always return to Cascade Platinum. It doesn't save money with lesser quality pods when you have to run the dishwasher more than once to get dishes clean!

Without a doubt the worst dishwasher Detergent I have ever used. First of all it is expensive! Comparing with market brands or not as known brands it is overpriced. Well, I like dishes cleaned so I thought it would be worth the price. My dishwasher is not bad and always got the job done. I tried multiple times with multiple settings to use this terrible pod and usually my dishwasher is half full only. I do scrape food before loading and no matter what it does not clean at all. I have to wash all the plates after and is just the worst! Also the pod does not dissolve. I did use other pods before and had no problem.

Overall I have really liked cascade products. I find however, that these get stuck in the dispenser and don’t always fall out. It is only this specific pod that ever gets stuck. When it does fall out though it does a great job cleaning!

O bout this thinking it would be great. I hate it. The smell is so strong I can’t even be in the kitchen when the dishwasher is on. You can taste it when you drink from your cup. I even rinsed the cups out with fresh water and still it takes over the flavor. I spent all of the money I had on these and can’t buy more. So I am past disappointment.

We wouldn't expect Cascade to impart the taste of the dishwashing soap into food or drink, and we’re very sorry to learn about your experience. Please know, our Safety Team works very hard to ensure all of our ActionPacs meet our high standards, so what you’ve described isn’t what we expect. If your dishes are retaining the scent of Cascade, it may be a sign that the soap isn't completely getting rinsed off, or if the dishes have become porous. If certain items always pick up a flavor, they're probably worn to the point of being porous and should be washed by hand. Additionally, it might help to know that cast iron and plastic items can absorb flavors. Try removing the smell by soaking your dishes in hot water with some distilled white vinegar added to it. For your safety in the kitchen, it might be best to stop using Cascade Platinum ActionPacs, but give Cascade Free & Clear a try, as it has the lightest scent of all Cascade dishwashing soap.
