I use Cascade ActionPacs when I'm meal prepping, and I have multiple dishes and pans to clean. It really does make my dishes and pans squeaky clean, and I don't see spots on my silverware when I use it (sometimes I use rinse aid, but most times I don't).

These are some of my favorite dishwasher pods. My dishes always come out clean and smelling fresh, no grease residue which is great! The fresh scent can sometimes be a bit overpowering, but it’s not too bad. It’s a 62 count container so they last a while, at least a month or two since I sometimes hand wash dishes as well. Overall, great product for the price.

The bottom of the pods container contains product which is stuck together in 2, 3 & 5 clusters. When pulling or cutting apart they start to leak and the pods are ruined. I’ve used this product for the last yr and this is first time I’ve had this issue.

Since the ActionPacs are formulated to start dissolving as soon as they come in contact with water, it sounds like they may have been exposed to moisture or humid conditions. This could have happened in shipping, handling, or storage. We have some tips for the best results when using our product. First, if two Cascade ActionPacs™ are stuck together, do not try to pull them apart as they may split or tear open. We recommend that you do not use multiple pacs in one load. Also, keep the package tightly closed between uses and store in a dry area with low humidity at room temps. Under the sink may be handy, but it’s often too warm and too humid if near the dishwasher. It's also important make sure your hands are completely dry when handling the ActionPacs and the package. Works great, I do have dishes pretty well rinsed off when I put them in the dishwasher though. So I’m gonna try leaving some stuck on food and see. Packaging is sturdy, the scent almost has a weird chemical smell though.

I am on a budget and I am constantly trying to find ways to save money. THIS product, however, is not where I am willing to look for alters. I do see a difference in my dishes when I do not use Cascade, so I no longer even bother trying other. I know that my dishwasher will be clean every time and that is worth it to me to pay a little extra. You can cut costs on many items by finding store brand equivalent, but in my household we do not mess with the dish detergent or toilet paper.

Pros: dishes are very clean Cons: dishes TASTE very clean I’ve heard that silicones and plastics start to taste off when you clean them in the dishwasher but in my 2 years of baby/toddler raising I’ve never experienced it. Then I buy these for the first time and, BAM. Went from zero to “did I accidentally fill this cup with industrial cleaner and fake lemons instead of water?” in one wash flat. I didn’t realize this was scented until I came back to see if others had the same problem. I guess I’ve never bought scented dishwasher soap before? Or these are just unusually good at ruining household items? You know, I haven’t really noticed a scent when putting these pods into the dishwasher or unloading the dishes, so what was even the point? Is Cascade in cahoots with Big Silicone?

We wouldn't expect Cascade to impart a taste, however, this is possible if the soap isn't completely rinsed off, or if the dishes have become porous. To ensure the dishwasher is rinsing properly, place a cup or mug on the top rack right side up, so it can collect water. Run a dishwasher cycle. The cup/mug should be filled with water at the end of the cycle. If it isn't, it's an indicator that the dishwasher is not rinsing properly. Also, if certain items always pick up a flavor, they're probably worn to the point of being porous and should be washed by hand. Good clean but everything tastes like soap

Everything is clean, which I appreciate, and makes this difficult, but everything tastes like soap. Most notable with any plastic or silicone things. Makes leftovers very unappealing. And poor kid eating of the silicone plates had all her food tasting like soap for his knows how long before we realized. Switching to something more natural and less scented or soapy.

I’ve been using the Cascade Dishwasher Pods for a few weeks now and I’m really impressed! Every single load comes out spotless — no leftover grease, no water spots, and definitely no lingering odors. I love how easy it is to just pop one pod in with no mess or measuring. The scent is fresh but not overpowering, and it leaves my dishwasher smelling clean too. I’ve tried other brands in the past, but Cascade has been the most consistent for getting my glassware crystal clear and my dishes truly clean.
