[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Gifted for my honest review. I love this dark reddish brown nail color from Essie. I think it is a perfect moody color for fall and winter and I have worn it a couple of times since receiving. This brand reliably puts out good nail colors and it lasts at least a week without chipping. Loved to have this added to my collection.

The worst polish! Horrible!
This is one of the worst nail polishes I’ve ever used. I bought the color Fringes & Saddles, a dark reddish-brown, because it reminded me of my favorite OPI polish, Lincoln Park After Dark. Unfortunately, it is terrible! The polish is streaky, thick, and globby. Application is uneven, and it’s nearly impossible to get a smooth finish. I have $5 nail polish that is way better than this one. I’m returning it. Save yourself the trouble, pay the extra $2, and get OPI instead. Horrible! I will never buy Essie polish again.

Prwtty color but wrong polish was sent
Very pretty color..I did order the vegan polish but it was not sent to me..I got the regular polish.. It is easy to apply..a bit harder to take off considering that the regular polish has more stuff in it than the vegan polish does. I do like Essie polish as it lasts a long time but again..it would get more stars if I got what I ordered

Too Hot is Lame
Color not as pictured. Too Hot to Tames is more brown and lighter than it appears in images.

My new fall and winter go to shade

Fringes and Saddle is the perfect rich chocolate brown with just enough depth to make it feel chic and seasonal without being too dark. It is one of those colors that looks good on every nail length and instantly makes your hands look put together. The formula is smooth, easy to apply, and surprisingly long lasting which is a big deal for me because polish usually chips fast on my nails. So far this one has held up really well. I love Essie in general but this color might be one of my new favorites for fall and winter. If you love deep, cozy shades that still look polished, this one is definitely worth grabbing.
