I like that the can opener is tall and you can use it to open cans of various sizes. The magnet and blade that holds the cans is detachable and dishwasher safe, so it’s easy to clean. There’s built in cord storage and It’s not super loud when opening cans.

The auto shutoff function can easily shut off the machine for me . In addition, the cleaning is super easily. I can remove all the parts easily and rinse or put in the dishwasher to clean it. Quite and fast open any can. I love it. The sweet cord storage design to let me keep my countertop without any mess.

It has a great height almost an 8 in can could fit under it which is especially for those very tall jars. I like the knife sharpening tool and the and the hidden storage for the extra length in cord I personally don’t like seeing chords on my countertop.

The handle is easy to operate, it catches on the can right away and when you press down it opens the can perfectly. It is easy to clean. It is really nice that it opens cans of different sizes including extra -tall ones. The can opener has a great look that complements my kitchen.

It does seem a little loud but it's easy to clean and has good grip so I don't have to hold the can. I love the added feature of the knife sharpener. It works great.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a really nice electric can opener. It fits all sizes of cans, large and small, as well as short or tall. Or tall. It latches onto the can really easily and cuts the lid smoothly. It also has a knife sharpener on the back. The only issue I had was with the cord cubby. Upon opening the box, it was extremely hard to get the cord out of the cubby hole because it was obstructed by the twister tie. However, once I got it out and took the twister tie off, it was a lot easier to get the cord in and out. This is a great can opener for folks who have arthritis in their hands or weak hand strength, because it takes very little hand strength to use this can opener. This is an excellent can opener and I recommend it without reservations.

The can opener opens with a smooth action as not to cut your fingers on. Will last for years and it has a sharpener and a convenient holder for your cord for storage. Parts come apart with ease to allow cleaning if needed. I highly recommend this functional Hamilton Beach can opener for your kitchen needs.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a very sleek design which fits in anywhere I like that the handle comes off for easier cleaning and it shuts off when done the knife sharpener is an added plus but the can opener has a hard time standing upright when doing larger cans it could use a heavier or wider base to accommodate the large cans better

As for opening a can the opener was difficult for me to load the can into. When loaded properly the can opened cleanly. A magnet is integrated into the blade assembly and the lid is easily removed.

The Tall Can Opener is easy to use, is hands free, and stops automatically when the can is all the way opened. I thought it was a little loud which is why I rated it a four instead of a five. All and all, a great can opener!

My only issue is I didn’t take into consideration, that I like having a can being opened closer to the counter, just in case it was to fall. Yep I’m sure you guessed it by now, I’m one of those paranoid people who keeps their hand under the can as the can opener is operating. The assembly was super easy, just put the knob right onto the stand. That’s it. That’s the whole installation.! The only reason I took away a star is I feel as though the can’t opener should have a little bit more weight to it.
