Not the same!
I have been buying these exact razor refills for 20+ years. I have coarse hair and very sensitive skin. The only razors that gave me a close shave and didn’t irritate my skin was Venus. I bought refills about a month ago and they were awful quality. I thought I must have gotten a bad batch and bought some more. Well this confirmed that these razors are definitely different. They’re super cheap. My skin is on fire, itchy, awful razor burn, and right after I shave it feels about as smooth as a porcupine. Booo!

HIGHLY Recommend
I have been using these razors for years. I have gone out and tried others out of curiosity and always come back to these. They get the CLOSEST shave, last a long time without drying out or falling apart, they are moisturizing and love that they are 5 blades. The hold up for a long time especially if you dry them after your shower. The only complaint is that these are quite expensive, but for how well they work they are well worth the price. I am not sure if its because they get such a close shave, but i have to shave significantly less while using these razors too.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this free from Influenster and Venus. This is the Gillette Venus extra smooth razor. When you open the box, it comes with two blades, one razor handle, and a shower holder. The handle is very comfortable to hold. The extra razor head has five blades on it for a smooth long-lasting shave. And the holder suction cups to the shower wall to hang up your razor, so your razor blades don't touch the water. I did want to love this razor, but I used it three different times, and every time after I would shave, I would get really itchy. So for me no I would not buy this.

Great 5 blade option
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love the original 3 blade venus, it causes no irritation and gets me a close shave. These 5 blade ones do irritate my armpits more, but surprisingly not as bad as the other 5 blade brand I've tried in the past. I love the shower holder that is included with this kit, and the color. The moisturizer strips aren't as thick as I'm used to with the ComfortGlide line, but they served their purpose and actually improve the longevity of the blades. I would purchase this for sure.

Smooth shave and zero irritation!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My legs get very angry with me when I shave them. Red bumps, irritation, and never feeling like I got a close enough shave. These razors are comfortable in your hand and make maneuvering around knees and ankles a bit easier. My legs were baby smooth, and my skin was happy! Price point is a bit painful, but a girls gotta do what a girls gotta do for a clean, close shave.

I wish I was able to get a more precise shave but the razor head compared to the actual blade is somewhat big. With that being said I has no problem with rusting and the hairs getting catches between the blades. I would 100% buy this again!

Amazing razor for sensitive places
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This product is amazing! I have used this brand since I have begun shaving, as they provide an amazing product that gives great results for a good price. This product has the added bonus of a holder for the shower, which I adore. I did not expect it to last that long but it has lasted many weeks and does not feel weak or shaky at all. I have PCOS and gain hairs easily on my face and most notably on my chin. I decided to test this product as a face razor, and I loved the experience. It is truly meant for sensitive skin. Another note is that I typically have to shave each day, and sometimes more than once a day. However, with this product I sometimes went three days without feeling the need to shave my chin. I highly recommend this razor for others!

Pretty Good Razor
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The holder didn't come with instructions on how to put it up but I clean my surface and held it for thirty seconds and it didn't stick in my shower or outside it. So that sucked. But the razor works really well. It was a smooth shave. It worked great and my legs and was almost perfect on my under arms. It's on of t e better razors I've had!
