the smell is a little strong but I do love it. I'm going to try the bigger bottles later on. I do 1 wish it came with a pump and two less expensive I do feel it took a little more to wash my hair with both. but I do have long thick ish hair.

I bought this set because my hair was feeling dry and lifeless. Shampoo cleans without stripping, conditioner moisturizes and seals. I can even go an extra day between washing. Styling is so much easier.

I threw out my other stuff. This is all i need. Honestly the shampoo doesnt feel like anything special initially but the when I used the conditioner and rinsed it out my hair felt like silk!!! And then i followed up with the mask which was amazing. Sometimes you have to use the whole system to feel the benefits. My hair was so soft and moisturized once I finished my blow dry. And I have fine relaxed 4c hair which is normally dry asl.

Saved my hair!
Got this stuff to replace my shampoo and conditioner while in a very dry climate. It kept my hair smooth and moisturized for the last leg of my trip. It smells amazing as well! The shampoo gathered nicely and you dont need too much of it either. The conditioner did wonders for the parts of my hair that were just on deaths door. If your used to a more humid climate and you travel somewhere dry I would totally recommend this stuff!!

I am Native American and Norwegian/Irish. Low porosity, fine, dry hair 2c . It detangles and hydrates with over moisture. I appreciate also its protein free ! It works instantly for me snd since it penetrates yet light.. i have zero frizz and I literally only have a leave in and styling lotion.

Liked this product, however, it took me a while to figure out this is what was making the tips of my fingers peel and crack and my scalp itch after using it for a few weeks. Possibly the hyaluronic acid but not sure.

I have tried every shampoo that states it help smooth and soften hair and this one actually works. I have frequently colored, aging, graying and frizzy hair. This product actually helps. (You can never fully fight humidity, but this product definitely helps "tame the mane!"

Honestly, I did not know this was more form curly or wavy hair. I have pin straight hair but was looking for something that wouldn't break the bank but something more than drugstore products. I absolutely love the way this conbo makes my hair feel. Also gives it a little bit of a shine. The only complaint I have was at first I did not like the smell. However, I can over look the smell, which you can get use to, I'd buy this again & again.

I am always looking for something better for my hair. My wavy hair mostly looks very dry and can quickly frizz but if I use something too heavy my scalp looks greasy along with giving me straight no volume hair. I saw this Matrix Food for Soft trial kit and decided to give it a try not expecting too much. Wow! After one use of the shampoo, conditioner and a couple drops of the oil serum my hair looked shiny, soft and like I had gotten a perm. My hair has never been so curly on its own and it lasted all day. I even got compliments and all I did was use this kit & air dry. I do love the shampoo & conditioner but I think it is the oil serum that is the cherry on top. I tried just the serum with another shampoo and it again brought out some curls and shine. I would gladly buy it again. I wish the oil serum wasn't as expensive. I only need a two or three drops for my shoulder length hair so one bottle should last a long time.
