Tree Hut Body Butter - Golden Vanilla - 8.4oz

FIRST OFF - this is a legit review. I’m not being paid or promoted to say this lol. So please stay with me.. this is the BEST scent they’ve ever released. I love vanilla and their old vanillas did not do it for me. This is the best. It’s so good. It’s light but it’s just enough vanilla and creamy and not fake smelling. I bought the two different types of scrubs and the body butter. I’m in love!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It makes me laugh that they have a hefty container for the lotion and then the lid feels extremely cheap. Not that this is bad in anyway. You don't need much lotion for it to work well. It also doesn't leave your hands oily. Hallelujah. Fantastic body butter for all over and smells pretty good. Not a strong smell.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Normally I don't buy body butter but now it looks like I need to start. I have very dry skin (especially currently in the winter) and eczema so I constantly am coating my cracked elbows with lotion and it never really gets rid of my ashy elbows. I decided to only try this Golden Vanilla body butter on one of my arms to see the difference and it truly did make one. I will say as far as the scent goes, this body butter doesn't really smell like vanilla at all to me, I'd say it has more of a typical plain shea butter scent with a nutty warm woody almost "smokey" tone to it. I am actually picky about gourmand smells as a chronic migraine fighter and I can say this does not have that overwhelming cupcakey scent luckily. I just would prefer if they add a bit of vanilla extract! The body butter goes on with a very wet light creamy feel, which had me skeptical that it would just "wet" my skin temporarily. But this body butter didn't just dry up, it actually left my arm feeling velvety smooth and creamy after it absorbed. It's surprisingly not greasy at ALL nor is it sticky. I also have sensitive skin and this formula and scent didn't cause any irritation whatsoever! As a matter of fact my skin seems to prefer this over anything else I've used so far! Though the scent didn't impress me much, the improvement in my skin was so fast and noticeable that I would absolutely consider buying this, just in a different scent! I would definitely purchase this scent though if they added a more vanilla scent to it! The only reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is due to it not having any of the vanilla scent I was expecting but I still would recommend it and I absolutely will keep using this product! I would love to try it again as well if the scent gets a redo later in the future!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really like the whipped texture and lightweight feel of this product! The smell wasn't quite for me, so I mostly used it to slug onto my feet - but it has helped my skin in the dry winter weather for sure!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I absolutely love this scent! It's called golden vanilla, and it has notes of sandalwood, creamy, coconut, and vanilla. It is warm and cozy and just an amazing all around scent. It goes on thick and creamy and it absorbs well into my skin. This is my new favorite scent from Tree Hut. I will definitely be using this on a daily basis.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This smells great. It's a nice vanilla that's not overly sweet. A little bit goes a long way so a jar will last awhile. It moisturizes well and absorbs quickly. The scent also lasts for a long time. Definitely recommend.
