    Vanilla scent where?

    I love the original Aveeno body oil and I thought the vanilla scented one would smell even better, but I don’t smell a hint of vanilla. It just smells like a bunch of body oils mixed together with no scent of vanilla. It’s just like the original when it comes to consistency and hydration but NO VANILLA SCENT.

    Not a mist

    This is not a mist. Comes out in runny globs. I do like the feel and smell of the product once it’s settled but it’s super greasy on your hands after having to rub it in wherever you ‘mist’.

    The scent throws me off

    So I actually like the product for the moisturization but there’s a butt I cannot get past the smell a small plastic key smells and authentic. It smells fake if you’re vanilla girl a grandma girl you know that there’s different types of vanillas and this is not it. It is nowhere near a vanilla scent. It’s like a cheap vanilla but the thing is it doesn’t even smells like vanilla. But the product itself as it states that it does for hydration that is actually should be four stars but the smell I cannot get past to have that on my body to smell like this all day. To me it stinks like I said almost like a plastic smell. I love Avino, but this is not it. They probably should stick to non-scented products other than one product that they used to have way back in a day that smell very nice and calming that was their creamy oil, body lotion. I absolutely loved that scent.

    Amazing oil formation

You instantly feel plumped and smooth after applying. The formation is great. Just one problem, its pump isn’t good. Since it’s an oil and when you pump once, your hands get oily ofcourse, so it’s super duper hard to pump again with oily hands so the bottle and pump design isn’t very practical. The rest of the product is absolutely amazing .

    Great smell

    [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I absolutely love the creamy sweet vanilla and cocoa scent. It is a gourmand sweet scent but doesn’t give me a headache. It’s summery and milky. The oil itself goes on slick and then quickly absorbs fully leaving the skin soft and not greasy. My only issue with this product is the spritzer bottle didn’t come out as much of a fine mist as I would have liked. It’s a bit tricky to spray on the body yourself as a mist. Overall I really like this body oil. It’s hydrating and didn’t upset my skin at all.

Obviously the smell was already going to be a winner for me, but I was truly hesitant about using this body oil as the others I've tried left me feeling greasy or sticky. I tried Aveeno's body oil mist both just at random during the day as a scent refresh on dry skin and directly following showers, and both ways worked well for me, providing a nice scent without a weird residue on my skin.     For dry skin

    [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The scent is honestly amazing - if you're a vanilla fan like me, it's kind of addictive. It has a warm cocoa butter and vanilla smell that's cozy but not overpowering. The mist is lightweight and sprays evenly, which makes it easy to apply. I like to use it right after a shower while my skin is still slightly damp. It helps lock in moisture, and my skin feels softer and more comfortable, especially during the winter when it gets extremely dry. That said, it is still an oil, so it mostly sits on top of the skin rather than fully absorbing like a lotion. Because of that, it can leave spots on clothes if you get dressed too quickly after applying. I usually give it a few minutes to settle before putting anything on.
