    Smelly

    Really weird strong smell, kind of smells like a citronella candle. Haven’t tried it on my hair and honestly, it smells so bad that I probably won’t.

    Love this conditioner!

    Have used for a few years now, and I love it! The new shape is great, I love how easy it is to hold and how smoothly it goes on. Keeps my hair hydrated without weighing it down. A bar usually lasts me about 6 months, with 2-3 washes a week, thick long hair. My go to conditioner!

    Great Bar

    It takes a week or two of use to really lather nicely and get the hang of. Smells amazing and fresh each time! My hair feels incredibly silky and smooth after using. It does a good job defining by curls but nothing exceptional.

    I love this conditioner, but sad that it's been reduced to h

    I've been using this conditioner along with the curl-defining shampoo bar for some time now and I love the product. It makes my hair soft and it feels great when I use it in the shower after shampoo. I rated this with 3 stars becaus was sad to discover that the new bar I bought is only half the size of the previous one I had for the same price. :(

    I miss the old formula! :(

    The curliosity cowash and conditioning bar was my everything. It was perfect for in-between wash days and lasted so much longer than this new one. Please bring back the old formula!

    Not in love with the shape

    The bar itself, I love. I've been using Ethique for a few years now and I really like it. However, I'm not in love with the new shapes. They're a bit difficult to handle, and I feel that the original rectangle was better. Otherwise, I really like this company.

    Best conditioner I have ever used

    This conditioner works perfectly for my curls. I have been using it for years and I always recommend it to others. I even use it as a leave-in conditioner. I highly recommend this to anyone with curly hair.

    Curl Care

    I've tried other brands of shampoo/conditioner bars, but nothing comes close to the quality and performance of Ethique. I love all the different formulas that I have tried so far. I especially like the uplifting lemongrass scent of the Curl Defining bars, and the shea butter. The shea butter softens, moisturizes, and fights frizz. My parched hair literally drinks it in!

    Great conditioner for curly hair

    This is the third bar conditioner for curly hair I've tried and the best one yet. It leaves my hair very soft with very defined curls. I love the fl scent too! My only complaint is how small the bar is. I bought the shampoo and conditioner combo - the shampoo bar is huge compared to the tiny conditioner bar. I use way more conditioner than shampoo so the proportions don't really make sense. I'll probably have to buy a new bar every couple of months while the shampoo will last way longer.

    Conditioner Bar

    I rarely used a conditioner. But since I love the shampoo bar. I thought I would try out the bar conditioner. It's quite grand. I like it because it conditions without out leaving a reside or feeling heavy on my long hair.

    I miss the previous version of this bar

    I was disappointed to get the new bar and see that the packaging is so much bigger than the bar (previous one was so eco friendly) and that the bar is so small and much softer. While it is easier to apply to my hair because the bar is softer and dissolves more easily, it also loses a lot of pieces every time I use it. And the size reduction seriously cuts down on longevity.

    New Design, less product

    Let me say I LOVE the new design as it doesn't break half way through... however... it's half the size for the same price? I haven't used a quarter of the shampoo and all the conditioner is gone. A little goes a long way but not THAT long

    Love the product, not the size/shape change

    I have been an Ethique user for 8ish years and was a tester for the curly range back in the day. I am a huge fan of the products and recommend Ethique to my co-workers (environmental field) and friends. Like others in the reviews, I am disappointed by the change in the conditioner bar. I have read the reasoning given, but don't necessarily agree. I never had trouble distinguishing the bars in the shower (I know that is only one data point) and I have always only shampooed my hair once a week as many curly haired folks do. The change in size has made a significant impact on how long the bar has lasted, even compared to other conditioner bars I have used from you all. I am also constantly dropping it in the shower - the new shape is slippery and hard to hold as the bar shrinks. While I appreciate your constant quest for improvement, this is the first time I have been disappointed by an update/change you all have made.

    First time user

    I heard of Ethique conditioner bars on Reddit. I have very curly hair and was looking for a way to bring conditioner on a trip where I only had a carry on. This is an amazing product. It moisturizers hair really well and stood up to the humid Caribbean climate. Would buy again.

    Nice product, smaller bar

    I really loved this product before the redesign where they reduced the size. It lasts half as long and I have to do more wipes down my hair due to the smaller surface area of bar. It's also harder to hold and I find I drop it more often. I'd say it's easier to use a bottle of conditioner.

    Great for Curls

    I have been looking for a conditioner bar for curly hair for quite a long time. None of the other ones I found could really moisturize. Ethique is so good--now I order two at a time because I'm afraid of running out!
