    a bit chalky. a bit dry. ive tried a billion gf protein bars. not the best. if your brownie batter tastes anything close to this, you shouldn't bake.

    My experience with this was so bad I feel obligated to warn other people - the fiber, protein, and sugar alcohol additives in this bar has hurt my stomach so, so incredibly badly. Do NOT bring this to work, don’t eat it for breakfast, don’t eat it unless you need a fast-acting laxative. It is that bad.

    Taste is good, but causes painful bloating.

    I was really looking forward to these and bought a box and took them to work for an afternoon sweet snack. They taste pretty good and are closer to a candy bar than any other protein dessert bar I have tried, but I have the worst stomach pain and urgent restroom trip after eating these. I use protein powder every day, and buy quite a few protein snacks, so I am used to eating things with similar ingredients, but I have never experienced painful bloating like I did with this bar.

    Sensitive Stomach's Beware!!

    These bars taste great! But they gave me and insane amount of gas and a pretty rough bathroom trip. The first time I didn’t realize it was the bar but the gas pains were so bad I was doubled over. I had only eaten a couple of bites!! The second time I ate one and within the hour I was running to the bathroom. I eat protein bars all the time with fiber and sugar alcohols, so it must be a specific type I’m sensitive too. I’d recommend trying AT HOME first when you have nothing going on. If it doesn’t upset your stomach it’s a great option for a vegan protein bar. But if you’re like me, stay far away, unless you’re backed up, in that case, this should do the trick.

    Will make you super gassy. They taste ok and texture is good but they for some reason really mess with your stomach. Tried one and the next day it upset my stomach. Then thought maybe it wasn’t the chocolate. Tried a few bites again the next night and again my stomach was running, something in these trigger gas and upset the stomach.     I so wish I could keep eating these! The taste is great but the sugar alcohol must be a lot bc it made me SO bloated - I ate one around noon and was still feeling the effects around 9pm (and when I ate one last week, it made me nauseous). If you’re not affected by maltitol like I apparently am, I do recommend these. The lower calories is also a plus. But just beware the sugar alcohol!

    Awful! Do not buy this! You think that it’s gonna be good because it has a crunchy texture on the outside with caramel on the inside but it is absolutely terrible! It taste like poison and very dusty feeling in your mouth. Doesn’t even remotely taste like chocolate, brownie, or caramel..not a familiar taste at all.
