A: That's a great question! Strollers are solely designed for infant carriers. The Pria Max All-in-One falls under the classification of a Convertible Car Seat. Convertible Car Seats are not designed for strollers due to notable features such as: non-detachable bases and larger structure. They are not as compact and easy to manage as Infant Carriers. Convertible Car Seats typically remain in the vehicle, while the child is transported in and out unless the seat needs to be installed in a different vehicle. A: That's an excellent question! The Pria Max All-in-One is machine washable separately with cold water on a gentle cycle. Make sure the harness covers are closed so the fastening strips are not exposed. DO NOT use bleach. Tumble dry separately for 10-12 minutes on low heat. Remove immediately. I hate this car seat with every fiber of my being. It is so difficult to install, I can never get it tight enough so I don’t feel comfortable using it to keep my child safe and had to buy a different brand. What a waste of money.

Straps no longer tighten & fabric is poor quality
I wanted to love this product but we've had several issues with the fabric & straps. The fabric piled within one month of using the seat and the straps and become less and less reliable. The straps no longer tighten and are now a safety concern for our child. We had to buy another car seat due to the safety of the straps falling off our child's shoulders every time they sat in the seat.

Bruising on child
I wanted to love this. We had the infant carrier and loved it. However this car seat leaves bruises on my child’s back. I’ve tried everything to make it stop, all off the suggestions, confirmed it is installed right and nothing is helping. And cannot get anyone to talk to me about it. Save your money!

Love it!
We’ve had 2 of these car seats (one for my car + one for my husband’s truck) for over a year now and both still are in like-new condition with almost zero pilling, no tears, no stains, etc. and we use it for our 2.5 year old boy. We’ve had our fair share of snack spills, muddy shoes, etc. and I am impressed with how well it has held up. The install is quick & easy as well as the cleaning. We are about to purchase a second set of the same car seat for our 10 month old we like it so much! The picture was taken right before writing this review after being clean (it does have some dog fur I haven’t lint rolled off yet).

Piling trouble
I got this car seat a couple months ago as an avid maxi cosi lover. I have to say I’m disappointed at the piling that comes from the seat. We keep the seat very very clean and my daughter loves it but the material does not hold up very well.

Defective, Unsafe & Maxi Cosi Customer Service Did Nothing
The Maxi Cosi Pria All-in-One is a horrible, unsafe car seat. From the very first use, the strap that tightens the chest harness gets stuck, not allowing us to tighten the harness all the way, making the seat incredibly unsafe & really unable to be used. Additionally, the shoulder straps get twisted every single time which all parents know is super annoying. I reached out to Maxi Cosi customer service two months ago letting them know we were having this issue and I never heard back. Horrible customer service. We were unable to return this item since I received it as a baby shower gift and since this seat is generally for toddlers we didn't try it until our daughter was about 1 years old, which means the product is outside the return window. We cut our losses and ended up buying the Evenflo Revolve360 and we LOVE IT.

Horrible Fabric (would be 5* but disappointing)
I have been using this car seat since November (2024)- so only a couple months, and my daughter loves it because it is very comfortable, cushiony, and spacious, HOWEVER, the fabric is pilling so horribly!! We keep our seat very clean and I take very good care of it, so I can’t understand how this seat is already starting to fall apart- especially so soon and at this price point! I was hoping to use it as my little one grows (she’s only 18 months) but I don’t even know if it’ll last that long. If the fabric was better quality, this would be a five star car seat, especially with the pure cosi fabric! So it is safe to say, I am disappointed! Pictures from our first day of use to today to show the poor fabric.

I’ve had this car seat for 4 years now and I am absolutely obsessed with it. My daughter is now 5 and we will be using it for another few years. I cannot recommend this car seat enough. Way better than the Nuna and Uppababy car seats. So easy to clean (I have the cream one) and so easy to install. She is comfortable in it on long car rides and it’s easy for me to get her in and out of the seat.

Not safe
I loved this car seat for the first year or so that we had it. Now, my 2.5 year old is constantly sliding her shoulders out of the straps. I am very particular about car seat safety and strapping her in properly. These straps have to be coming loose at some point after I put her in the car seat for this to happen. Every time I see that the straps are off, all I can think is that if we got in a car accident she would be dead!! Would not recommend this carseat for toddlers that are old enough to fidget. We invested in this to grow with her, but now have to purchase something different.

Sharp plastic!!!
As grandparents we chose to have a car seat ourselves to make it easier to pick up our grandchildren as needed. Overall a good car seat, the finish on the plastic parts is weak. Where you have to reach to put a seatbelt or other securing parts be ready to scratch your hands on the sharp unfinished plastic.

I received this Infant Car Seat from the weeSpring Parent Panel and was so excited to give it a test run and review. I have two kids, a 1.5 year and a very tall 3.5 year old. When I received the car seat I was ecstatic to find out that the seat would not only fit my 42" tall boy, but it would last him for years to come! Such a relief as he was just outgrowing his current convertible chair. This is the one stop shop for infant car seats. You can use it from a tiny baby (it comes with all the necessary pads) and it will grow with your child until you eventually convert it into a booster seat. Seriously brilliant. The seat itself was easy to install. It has latch connectors but I used the seatbelt method as my son is over 40lbs. What I appreciate was how easy it was to adjust the headrest with one hand. This seat comes with a magnetic chest clip which I was a little skeptical about at first but I have to say it is easy to use and impossible for my son to unclip himself. It comes with handy harness holders on the sides of the seat and 2 cup holders, one on either side- all not necessary features for me personally, but nice to have. One feature I have not used but is great for younger children is the 3 position recline. We do travel a lot on planes and I would be excited to use the recline feature on our next plane ride as we like to encourage our kids to sleep when we fly. The fabric of the seat feels smooth and luxurious and there are tiny perforations on the seat back part to keep your child cool in the hot summer months. It comes off completely for washing which I have not tried myself but am so happy about. This seat is not wide like some other ones I have seen on the market. I have not needed to try to fit 3 across the back of my car so I can't vouch for whether or not it could work, however, it does fit into my larger sedan very well and there would easily be space for two people to sit without car seats. My son gives it a thumbs up and so do I!

I love the cup holder proximity and that you get two. We had used 3 different pria models with our daughter and I bought a nuna for my second son because it felt study. Well the cup holders on the car seat are awful and a child can't reach them until 3+ so I decided to buy a new pria in the max all in one. My son had an accident and peed so I had to wash the fabric. I washed it on delicate in a non agitating HE washer and the entire seam that runs your child's knee back to their butt ripped. I was hoping I could find a replacement cover set since there is nothing structurally or age wise wrong with an 18 month old car seat.

Very easy to adjust, but lots of parts
This seat is huge and heavy so while it is great for keeping in one car, it is not good for switching between cars or for traveling. Luckily, I was not looking to travel with this. The initial setup was kind of daunting. There are so many parts since it is adjustable for so many different sizes of children. I really had to pay close attention to which parts were only used in each seat orientation. We didn't need any of the rear facing parts. We also did not use the lower buckle cushion because it makes it hard to get to the buckle. I like that the height of the straps is easily adjustable with the push of a button instead of having to try to thread things through and get them back on correctly. That makes it easier on my husband who never figured out how to do that on the seats we currently have. Overall, I'm very satisfied with this seat. I've tried it with both my 2 year old and my 4 year old and they both like it. Now I wish I had 2!

Hot and Bothered
I'm having difficulty getting it in the recline position for a 3 month old baby. I removed it from the car and still was unable to recline. I spent a very hot, sweaty hour trying to figure it out and then couldn't tighten it enough. I can only get it into the upright position. I'm very frustrated with this car seat.

Literally just broke
We've had this seat from birth and planned on using it throughout its advertised life cycle, "birth to 10 years," but after 4 years the height adjuster lost a spring or something and now it just falls down and won't click into place. The seat has never been in an accident or damaged, one day it just fell down and can't be fixed. We're out of warranty and there's nothing Maxi Cosi can do. We've loved this seat until now but if you're planning on spending the extra money for a seat that will last for years, look elsewhere.

Planning to get another one!
Living in an area that requires driving to run daily errands means I am in need of a carseat for my toddler that is easy to use without losing any of the safety features a mom wants in something that holds her precious cargo. Enter the Maxi Cosi 3-in-1 Convertible Car Seat. This seat has been a dream! To start, I didn't have to call my husband to come put a little extra muscle into the installation, a common scene in the past. I was able to get it snapped in and tightened to the suggested tightness on the first time, so I was impressed right off the bat. The set up for the seat itself was simple and it is easy to adjust as your child grows. The fabric on this seat is extremely soft and the cover is easy to get off and on to throw into the wash. There are two cupholders that lock into place so my toddler cannot just pull them out and throw them. My favorite feature on this seat is hands down the magnetic chest clip. I have two young kiddos so I can be holding my younger child and get my older child unbuckled with one hand. It also makes getting my toddler into the car a breeze, even when fighting the occasional toddler tantrum because I can just flip the chest clip on instead of the added struggle of getting it clipped. When he gets a little older it will be easy for him to do himself as well! I love that this seat grows with my child and I won't have to look for another seat between now and my child outgrowing a carseat/booster. Flimsy, shoddy workmanship
So we currently use A Chicco car seat and we're excited about this even more expensive brand. Out the box it was significantly lighter and I thought, oh this is nice. The material itself seemed very nice: plush, soft, but not cheap. Then I saw lots of edges were frayed and in many areas the material wasn't enough to cover plastic edges of the frame. I tried to look past it and was eager to use it on our next Disney trip. We usually time the drive so the girls will nap on the way. We decided we would let out almost two year old use it. It never happened. First, It was very difficult to get the latch On right. Once we finally got it to where we were semi comfortable we put her in it. Then my husband asked why I changed the positron to 2. I told him I didn't change it. We wanted her in the most leaned back position so she could sleep without her neck falling over. Eventually we figured that it was still in setting 3, but once baby was sat in it the weight distribution was such that it moved to a different position. It took us a long waste of time to come to this conclusion that we didn't feel comfortable having her strapped into this for a nap, much less a drive. When we got our current car seat we immediately felt safe putting our daughter in it. So much that we own another for our second. It just felt flimsy. Would not recommend based on our experience. If it crunches to a whole different position just in securing it and putting baby in it, I cannot trust it in an unforeseen accident

Parent-testing the Pria Max 3-in-1 -- Loved it!
We're using the new Pria Max 3-in-1 thanks to the weespring parent panel (provided to us for free)! Things we love: This thing is SO COMFY. I want one for myself. It's padded, all the lining is removable and washable, and it came right on time after Babu threw up on his infant carseat (which does NOT have a removable/washable cover). The headrest and straps are easy to adjust and clasp. He also seems happier being up a little higher where he can see out of the windows better. Things that could be better: The seatbelt attachment does not have a clamp like our infant carseat did, which gave us a little more peace of mind. Unfortunately, our car doesn't have a LATCH system in the middle seat, and carseats don't fit well anywhere else in the backseat. Also, it would be nice if the included pillows had velcro to keep them in place. I could get velcro myself and install it, but I guarantee you that I will forget I've considered it two minutes from now. All in all, we like this carseat! Our kid is safe, he feels snug and happy, and he naps when we drive. That's what we want out of a carseat, especially one that lasts until he's 100lbs!
