EKO 40L+28L Deluxe Hana Step Trash Can

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a really good trash can to separate my recyclables and trash. It helped me get into the habit of recycling the items I need to. The bins were ready to use out of the box and required no real installation other than adding the trash bag. The only downside is that the step feature is sensitive and the lid will slam against my countertop.

It takes 13 gallon trash bags or smaller if you’d like, I think it’s perfect size for any kitchen space or if you would like to keep in garage etc. It’s so easy to take out and clean, also, super great and durable quality that I know it will last forever, if we keep it in great condition. I’m totally happy with it, and I know we will be recommending this brand to everyone we know!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This has been the absolute perfect waste bin for our kitchen. It makes separating garbage and recycling extremely easy. The lids open seamlessly and they have a slow close function so there is no worry that little fingers will be smashed. Even the youngest remember of our family has no trouble using it on their own. It is super easy to remove and empty the bins and the stainless steel finish wipes off easily and does not show a lot of finger prints. The bin liners that came with it are fantastic and hold up well to heavy use. The lidded can is wonderful at keeping garbage smells concealed as well. It also fits perfectly under our counters while still allowing for the lid to open.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Eko 40L/28L dual function step recycling trash can is a stylish and functional trash can. The stainless steel finish looks great in any room and with any decor. The pedals open the lids nicely and the lids are soft-close so they don't slam shut. The trash side fits a 13 gallon bag well and the recycling side is a removable plastic bucket for easy emptying. Changing bags and emptying the recycling is quick and easy to do. Sometimes a lid is open to 90 degrees so it does not close by itself which isn't great to have to touch it to make it close manually.

I put cans on one side and all other recyclable items in the other side. I was just looking for one but this could not have been more perfect. Also, it came with bags.

It has encouraged me to recycle more since the design is so easy and encouraging to use. The recycling bin comes out for easy rinsing of left over soda and drinks from bottles/cans. Trash bags were also provided and good quality also. The stepping mechanism works well, however the lids opens very fast and is a bit loose. The soft closing of the lid is also a great feature. Once the lid is closed, there is no smell at all. The design of the unit is very modern and classy, fits well in a nice kitchen. Pretty silent unit, not banging noises when compared to cheap counter parts.
