Calphalon 2.5qt Premier Stainless Steel Sauce Pan with Lid

I have several Calphalon pans and they’re all excellent. This is my first stainless steel and I’m very happy with it.

I’ve been using it for over a month now, and cleaning it is no big deal. Actually, I burned oatmeal the first time I used it (oops), but after soaking and a little scrubbing, it looked brand new. It’s got a nice weight to it - not too heavy, just enough to feel solid. I’m obsessed!

It’s the perfect size for rice, pasta for 2, sauces, reheating leftovers, and one-pot veggie sides. The pan heats evenly so rice comes out fluffy every time and pasta water reaches a boil quickly. I love that the lid seals heat well (less evaporation) but is lightweight enough to lift without drama. Clean-up is easy breasy! Food rarely sticks if you use good technique (medium heat + a little oil) and it polishes up nicely for photos. If food does stick, I’ve found a good soak with spray on soap does the trick! The brushed stainless aesthetic looks premium on camera and coordinates with other stainless pieces. Overall — durable, reliable, and absolutely one of my most-reached-for pans. Highly recommend for anyone wanting a small, versatile saucepan that actually performs.
